The pair welcomed Nancy Corinne in 1964. She kept the Pelosi name until 2008, when she married businessman Theodore Jeffery Prowda.
She changed her name to Nancy Prowda after the wedding and has stayed mostly away from the spotlight’s glare, so not much is known about her career. However, according to reports, she graduated from Mount Vernon College.

He is a graduate of the University of Denver and a master’s degree holder in special education from St. Cloud University. His father, now retired, was the medical director at Oneida Ltd., Silversmiths, and was the president of the medical staff at the Oneida City Hospital, both in Oneida, NY.

Why Did Nancy Corinne Pelosi Make Headlines?
In May 2023, reports claimed that Nancy Corinne Pelosi (Prowda), the eldest daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was escorting the now-late Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Her job was to join other aides to encircle Feinstein when reporters charged with their questions. This generated murmurs across the country as people worried her Democrat mother was up to something.
When Feinstein returned from her three-month absence caused by shingles, she had become entirely dependent on her aides. Nancy Corinne Prowda was the critical aide, helping Feinstein around the Capitol as she recovered from the shingles.
Political analysts suspected this could mean the Pelosis get extra sway in nominating a replacement for Feinstein, who was supposed to complete her term in 2025. As far as Nancy Prowda and her mother were concerned, she was only there for a family friend, as the three reportedly shared a close bond.
Unfortunately, Senator Dianne Feinstein passed away in September 2023 after months of declining health, saddening those closest to her, including the Pelosis. Days after her demise, she was flown to San Francisco on the president’s military fleet accompanied by Nancy Pelosi.
Nancy Pelosi said after her friend’s demise: “With Dianne, it’s official, it’s political, and it’s very personal. She was my neighbor, my friend. My family loved her personally, politically, and in every way. We always said that if Dianne and I ran against each other, my daughter Nancy would probably vote for Dianne. That was the love that existed.”
