The mother immediately called 911, describing her baby being choked. Mike Tyson expressed gratitude for the prayers and support he received at the time.
The incident prompted Consumer Reports to emphasize the importance of treadmill safety, describing the death as preventable. Mike Tyson referred to Exodus as his “Angel” and revealed to Oprah Winfrey that he chose not to know the details of her passing.
He went on to describe that his first thought after he received the news was that it was a tragedy. According to him, he was grateful he found a way to mourn his daughter without sinking back into his demons.
