American comedian and actress Melissa McCarthy celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary in style. The 50-year-old shared intimate photos of herself and her husband to commemorate the big day.
Love is in the air for actress Melissa McCarthy and her husband, actor Ben Falcone. The pair took to Instagram to celebrate their long-lasting marriage as they mark fifteen years of marital bliss.
Falcone paid tribute to his wife, sharing a funny photo of her carrying two rabbits alongside a lengthy caption. His accompanying message sang praises of McCarthy, whom he admittedly was “so lucky and grateful to be married to.”
The actress’s post, comprising two photos, was more straightforward. The first picture showed the couple engrossed in an intimate kiss, with McCarthy’s wedding ring on display.
She celebrated her husband with a touching tribute which summarized her happy marriage to Falcone. It read:
“15 years ago today, I married the kindest, funniest, and weirdest human I’ve ever met. Grateful every single day!!!”
The lovebirds have been open about their shared love and affection, which through the years, has become the key to their marital success.
Having met in 1998 in a comedy school, the duo built their relationship around shared passions and goals. Admittedly, since their paths crossed, they have contributed to making each other better.
Through their individual career successes, joint projects, and building a family, the two have built their romance to perfection. Remarkably, the duo has experienced no scandal since tying the knot on October 8, 2005.
In their 15 years together, Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone have welcomed two children, Vivian and Georgette. Despite the additions to their growing family, the Hollywood sweethearts’ love for each other remains dauntless.
Another key to the blissful marriage is getting to work together.
In the last decade, the entertainment icons have starred alongside each other in iconic movies like “Bridesmaids,” and “Gilmore Girls.”
As a movie director, Falcone has also directed his wife in the majority of her movies, including “Tammy,” “The Boss,” and “Life Of The Party.” Interestingly, they co-wrote some of these movies, bringing to life some of the best cinematic experiences to grace the screens.
Working together has, over the years, made them the best of friends, making every moment with the couple a fun one. And they have passed on the affection and unity to their two daughters.
Cheers to five hundred more years of bliss!
