The two young royals became cordial from there, with Middleton promising to be of help whenever needed. Their first public project together happened the following year in February. Markle and Middleton sat center stage while talking about their joint projects for the Royal Foundation.
By May of the same year, Prince Harry and Markle walked down the aisle. While little royals Princess Charlotte and Prince George served as bridesmaid and pageboy, Middleton held no role. This was because she had just given birth to her third child, Prince Louis, at the time.

“They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet.”
Another informant shared that Middelton has been reaching out more to Meghan, often sending notes and “trying to build up a relationship.” In January 2022, Kate celebrated her 40th birthday and chose a lowkey event.
Markle and Prince Harry were not present for the small party Prince William held for his wife, but they did call in to greet the birthday girl. The royal duo was said to have placed a video call to celebrate Middleton.
