“Dancing With The Stars” contestants Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev emerged victorious in the just-concluded 29th season of the dance competition show.

The final episode of the 29th season of the celebrity dance competition show “Dancing With The Stars” aired on Monday. The long-anticipated finals concluded with the celebrity dance pair, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and Artem Chigvintsev, taking home the priced mirror ball.

For the grand finale, the grand prize winners competed against three other couples who also made it to the finals. However, garnering straight 10s from all the judges in their two presentation rounds for two consecutive weeks put them in first place.

BRISTOWE AND CHIGVINTSEV’S BIG WIN

ABC announced the winners via Instagram, confirming Bristowe and Chigvintsev as the grand prize winners. They accompanied the post with pictures of the season’s champions holding on to the mirror ball on the “DWTS” stage. The caption read:

“Our new champs!!! Congratulations to #WillYouAcceptThisDance! #DWTSFinale #DWTS #Finale.”

The post attracted several congratulatory messages from fans and well-wishers, including fellow finalists Nev Schulman and Daniella Karagach.

MEET THE OTHER FINALISTS

As one of four couples to make it to the grand finale, Chigvintsev and Bristowe’s final performance was a battle of champions. To emerge as the winners, the pair defeated Nev Schulman and Pro dancer, Jenna Johnson who became the first runner-ups.

The altar was the next stop for the newest “DWTS” champion

Rapper Nelly and pro partner Karagach emerged third, while Justina Machado and Sasha Farber ended up in fourth place.

MORE THAN JUST A WIN

Taking home the mirror ball meant more than a big win to former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, the daughter of a pro ballerina. The night before the finals, the star joked that the mirror ball might be the difference between receiving her dream proposal from boyfriend, Jason Tartick, and remaining a Bachelorette. She divulged:

“Jason won’t propose to me unless I win the mirror ball.”

Having won the grand prize, it appears the altar was the next stop for the newest “DWTS” champion. And by any luck, the wedding bells may also be looming for Chigvintsev and his fiancé, Nikki Bella.

ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV MAY PLAN A WEDDING SOON

“DWTS” fans are no aliens to having Artem Chigvintsev on the dance competition show. He competed as a pro in previous seasons, most remarkably, in the 25th season, where he met his now-fiance, Nikki Bella.

At the time of their meeting in 2017, the “Total Bellas” star was in a relationship with WWE champion John Cena. Following Bella’s split from Cena, she hooked up with Chigvintsev, and they became a couple.

The lovebirds went Instagram official in March 2019. They became engaged in November that year, during a romantic getaway in France. The two welcomed their son, Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev, in July 2020, commencing plans to start a family together.

With the 29th season of “DWTS” out of the way, Bella and the Russian dancer have nothing else hindering them from taking their relationship down the aisle.
