Ice-T and Coco Austin welcomed their daughter, Chanel Nicole, on November 28, 2015, in Englewood, New Jersey. Austin had taken to Instagram to announce the birth of her daughter by sharing a picture of Nicole. However, the new mother did not stop on Instagram, as she took X to express her happiness further.
In 2023, during an interview with Today, Ice-T opened up about the opinion of sharing a strong resemblance with his daughter. Ice-T said, “It’s cool. I think she kind of gets irritated with people telling her she looks like her dad instead of her mom. But if you look at any old pictures of Coco, there’s similarities there.”
Speaking on their resemblance, Austin stated that although Nicole has mastered Ice-T’s “famous side eye,” she still has her unique personality. How Did Ice T and Coco Austin Meet?
In 2017, during an interview with “Mario Lopez: One on One,” Ice-T and Coco Austin opened up on the genesis of their relationship. According to the couple, a mutual acquaintance originally introduced Ice-T and Coco on a music video shoot. Ice-T claimed that he was introduced to Austin after a friend had brought her over to lift his spirits, as he wasn’t feeling well that day.
Speaking on their introduction, Ice-T stated that while he dislikes being introduced to new people, that was not the case with Austin. The rapper said that seeing Coco made it hard for him to maintain his composure. Recollecting their conversation from that day, Ice T remembered asking Coco Austin whether she would be open to dating a gangster rapper.

Following their initial introduction, Coco Austin continued to work as a model in California, while Ice-T had to return to New York City to shoot “Law & Order: SVU.”
After they established a long-distance romance, Coco Austin frequently traveled to New York City. Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas hosted their wedding on New Year’s Eve a few months later. Coco Austin said on her blog that it was “the most romantic, beautiful moment ever.”
