If you are in your 30s and still have not found your soul mate, it is possible that you are not the problem. They may simply not be in your country. Just ask Lindsay Lohan, who did not find a suitable match until she left America to go to Dubai.
In an exclusive interview with Bustle, the talented woman admitted migrating away from the United States was critical to getting out of the public eye. Lohan traveled from the US to London a little over a decade ago before permanently settling in Dubai.
It was there when she eventually met her husband, Bader Shammas. During the interview, Lohan reflected on what pushed her to leave the country.
As expected, the never-ending swarm of paparazzi was the main one. “I feel like some of [my work] got overshadowed by paparazzi and all that kind of stuff when I was younger, and that’s kind of annoying. I wish that part didn’t happen,” she said in the article, published on 14 March.

She also added: “I feel like that kind of took on a life of its own. So that’s why I wanted to disappear. I was like, ‘Unless there’s no story here, they’re not going to focus on just my work.’”
Aside from her desire to escape the press, the “Mean Girls” actor hoped to find romance. “I was like, ‘What if I never fall in love? What if this never happens?’” she confessed. And it took me just taking time for all those doors to open and the ‘yeses’ to come—the things I wanted to say ‘yes’ to.”
Now, Lohan has found her other half, and she’s also a boy mother. She and her hubby had their first child, Luai, about one year after their marriage.

Since he arrived in July 2023, Lohan has proudly put her postpartum body on display, refusing to succumb to the pressure of losing weight quickly. “Everyone’s getting so thin now. I feel like everything always comes full circle again, so this is that moment, and this, too, shall pass. But it does seem like there’s pressure,” she told Bustle.
Rather than becoming deeply fixated on her appearance, Lohan has focused on Luai and her husband. She said: “I was so attached to [Luai] that my last thought was going on a treadmill. I feel like we put so much pressure on ourselves to have to look ‘good’ so soon, but you look so beautiful [postpartum]. Give yourself time.”
