Are Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian back together?
After more than ten years since they went their separate ways, the former lovers haven’t set an eye on each other until now. On Monday, January 20, 2024, the former NBA star revealed what it felt like to meet Khloe after their divorce in 2016.
Speaking with the hosts of the “Kyle and Jackie O Show,” Odom described how his meeting with his ex-wife happened. He explained that the reunion process began after he bumped into Khloe’s friend, Malika Haqq. They met in Las Vegas, and an interesting conversation began.
“I bumped into [Malika] in Las Vegas, I think it was Super Bowl weekend,” he recalled. It was Haqq who brought up the idea of Odom meeting Khloe. “She came to me and said, ‘You know Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloé, it’s been years. You haven’t seen her, if you’re up for it, I think I could make it happen.’”
Of course, the former LA Lakers star loved the idea. He fixed a date to visit Khloe’s Hidden Hills, California home and took some flowers along, too. But little did he know that he was going to appear in her reality TV show in the process. His visit, which was captured on camera, will feature in season 6 of “The Kardashians.”
Lamar Odom, 45, recalled that he was shocked when he ran into multiple cameras in her house. “I went there, and it was cameras there,” he revealed. “It’s cool, I understand it.” Lamar Odom isn’t a stranger to Khloe Kardashian’s reality TV lifestyle. They had a lot of cameras in their home during their 6 years of marriage.

Are Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian Getting Back Together?
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s reunion sparked some speculations among fans. Many see it as a sign that the pair could get back together in a romantic way. But Odom was quick to shoot down the thought when hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O posed the question to him.
After they asked him if he and Khloe were back together, he said, “I wouldn’t say back together. It would be a blessing to be her friend.” He further stated, “So much time has passed, and people change for the better.”
Pressing him further, the hosts asked, “You’re in love with her still. You want to be with her or not, you want her back? You can admit it.” In response, Odom didn’t deny that he still had feelings for Khloe. But he implied that it would be better if things remained the way they are. “I think it’s healthy sometimes to, like, you know, move on. You know, in a healthy way,” he explained.
Khloe Kardashian, 40, said something similar while she was speaking about her meeting with Odom. Viewers of the show got to hear her thoughts in clips of a confessional that featured in the season 6 trailer. The trailer showed Khloe discussing with her mom, Kris Jenner, and sister, Kim Kardashian, both of whom appeared shocked at Odom’s reemergence.
“Honestly, I think timing is everything,” Khloe said to them in the clip. “You guys are never going to believe who I met with,” she declared. As Kim asked, “Who?” the trailer showed Odom emerging from his car. “This is insane!” Kim exclaimed as Odom approached the door, holding a bouquet of red roses.
Afterward, the trailer showed Kris Jenner in an emotional moment. “That was the love of her life,” she stated. Khloe then responded, “I don’t know this person anymore.” The 6th season of the show is set to hit the screens on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
What Does Lamar Odom Do Now?
Presently, Lamar Odom is living a pretty quiet life. Aside from recently receiving backlash for ordering a customized life-sized sex doll that imitated Khloe Kardashian’s physique, he has largely been under the radar.
But Odom has revealed that he is working on his substance abuse problem. He disclosed that he is investing in addiction treatment centers as well as raising awareness about substance use. Odom is also working on starting a podcast.

What Happened With Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s Marriage?
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s divorce happened in 2016 amidst allegations of cheating and drug use. Khloe Kardashian gave up on the marriage in 2013 after she found evidence that Odom was involved with other women while they were married.
However, Khloe Kardashian wasn’t able to go through with the divorce plans due to an Odom accident. Khloe paused the divorce plans so she could make decisions for him after he suffered a near-fatal drug overdose. After his recovery, she kickstarted the divorce process till she was able to finalize it in 2016.
How Long Were Khloe and Lamar Together?
The marriage between Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian was unusual. Not because it lasted for about 6 years before their divorce was finalized in December 2016. But because the pair tied the knot in 2009, just 30 days after they met. At the time, he already had three kids from a previous relationship.
Lamar Odom’s kids are daughter Destiny and sons Lamar Jr and Jayden. Odom had Destiny in 1998 for his ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales. Then they had Lamar Jr in 2002 and Jayden in 2005. After leaving Odom, Khloe Kardashian began a relationship with Canadian basketball player Tristian Thompson.
Although the relationship wasn’t very stable, it produced two kids—True and Tatum. Presently, their daughter, True, is 6, while their son, Tatum, is 2 years old. The relationship lasted from 2016 to 2021 before it finally broke down. The coast is still very clear for an Odom-Khloe comeback.
