On Tuesday, July 30, Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign rally in Atlanta turned heads. Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion made on-stage appearances at the political event, and Harris demanded that Donald Trump “say it to her face” in a debate.

Vice President Kamala Harris declared to an enthusiastic, raucous, and full Atlanta venue that although they would struggle over the following 98 days, they would prevail in November.

She also made fun of Trump for not knowing if he would attend their next debate. The presumptive Democratic presidential candidate stated, “The momentum in this race is shifting, and Donald Trump appears to be feeling it.”

Kamala Harris and Trump Debate

After announcing that he would debate Kamala Harris, Trump suddenly doubted the purpose of the meeting. He also stated that while he “may certainly” debate her, he also “can make a case for not doing it.”

Furthermore, he labeled ABC News as “fake” and proposed that the discussion scheduled for September 10 be shifted to a different network. “He and his running mate have much to say about me, but they won’t dispute me,” Harris said.

“Don’t you think that some of their work is just plain odd, by the way? Well, Donald,” she continued. “I sincerely hope you’ll think twice. As the phrase goes, “If you have something to say, say it to my face. Come debate with me.”

Harris’ Rally

Kamala Harris executed what has become a hallmark event in the state that gave Biden his closest margin of victory in 2020: a sizable, boisterous rally at which her supporters were yelling her name.

On stage, she called her opponent and his running mate, JD Vance, “just plain weird” and criticized their antiquated, risky, and outmoded policies. “Donald, please think again before we meet on the debate platform,” she said. “Because, as they say, tell it to my face if you have anything to say.”

Kamala Harris’ White House Race

To put things in perspective, Harris hasn’t formally claimed the Democratic nomination yet. However, the DNC announced that she is the only candidate who meets the requirements to run in the 2024 presidential race.

This means that come Monday, August 5, 2024, when the party concludes a virtual roll call vote, she will almost certainly win it. Her choice of a running mate is also anticipated by early next week.

At that point, Kamala Harris intends to start a seven-stop tour of battleground states to hold rallies alongside her vice presidential nominee. Harris started Tuesday by drawing a contrast between the law and Trump’s numerous legal issues and transgressions.

But she also vehemently defended the accomplishments of the Biden administration, vowing to introduce laws advancing voting rights and reinstate the abortion rights that were taken away with the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion Were the Special Guests at the Atlanta Rally

The roughly 8,000-seat basketball arena at Georgia State University was packed with voters waving signs, dancing to Beyoncé’s “Freedom,” the campaign soundtrack for Harris, and a performance by Megan Thee Stallion.

Quavo took the mic and firmly endorsed the Vice President, citing his prior work with the politician on gun violence and crediting the politician for always standing “on business.” “So if you never voted before, make sure you get out right now ’cause this is the real one. And in the words of my brother Takeoff, let me get a ‘Kamala,'” Quavo said.

Kamala Harris Leads Trump

According to a recent survey, Kamala Harris is leading Trump among registered voters nationwide by one point, 43% to 42%. A Democratic political consultant, Ms. Morton of Georgia, stated that she believed those margins would only rise, particularly among voters in Georgia.

However, the state continues to see a lot of support for Trump. Republican congressman from Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, referred to the state as “Trump country.” She called Kamala Harris a “radical extremist” and shared information about his event on Twitter.

Kama Harris has come under fire due to her handling of the southern border problem as vice president and her unique responsibility to halt migration at its source. However, Harris seems to be capturing hearts as she begins her rally.
