Embattled actor Justin Baldoni is going to court. Following accusations of sexual harassment by Hollywood colleague Blake Lively, Baldoni has revealed plans to clear his name. American actress Blake Lively has accused fellow actor and director Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment while they filmed the blockbuster movie “It Ends With Us.” She has also accused Baldoni of launching a smear campaign against her after she confronted him. She has also followed up her accusations with a lawsuit.
On his part, Baldoni has repeatedly denied her claims. His attorney, Bryan Freedman, has also described the allegations as “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious.” But Baldoni isn’t going to stop there.
In an interview with journalists, his lawyer disclosed plans to respond to their suit. Freedman disclosed this on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Freedman, while answering questions from NBC reporters, responded with “Absolutely… yes” when asked if they would be suing Blake Lively.
Freedman also stated that his team had gathered credible evidence to prove his client’s innocence. “We plan to release every single text message between the two of them,” he stated.
Justin Baldoni has lost out to Lively in the court of public opinion. Defeating her in court seems like the best way to repair his battered image. “We want the truth to be out there. We want the documents to be out there. We want people to make their determination based on receipts,” his lawyer also stated.

What Will Baldoni’s Lawsuit Look Like?
Sources have disclosed that Baldoni would be joined as plaintiff by Wayfarer Studios, which is the production firm behind “It Ends With Us.” Other plaintiffs include Jennifer Abel, his publicist, and Melissa Nathan, his crisis publicist.
They will be suing Blake Lively along with her publicist, Leslie Sloane, and, interestingly, former Baldoni publicist, Stephanie Jones. Freedman, however, did not reveal when his lawsuit will emerge. However, a source revealed that the public should expect to see it “soon.”
It won’t come soon enough for Justin Baldoni’s fans and supporters. His fans are eager to see the actor absolved of the accusations, especially as he has begun to suffer for his declining public image.
On December 23, 2024, the Vital Voices Global Partnership withdrew an award they gave to Baldoni. On December 9, 2024, they honored Baldoni with the Voices of Solidarity Award for his movie “It Ends With Us,” which raised awareness about women’s rights and gender-based violence.
In a sharp U-turn, the nonprofit announced that they would be taking back the award, citing “abhorrent conduct” based on Blake Lively’s allegations. They explained that Baldoni’s alleged actions were “contrary to the values of Vital Voices and the spirit of the award.”

Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively were the pillars of the Netflix high-flying movie “It Ends With Us.” The movie, which did great numbers in the market, was an adaptation of a popular book by the same name. Baldoni began revealing plans for the movie in 2019 and announced Lively as the lead act.
Lively played the role of Lily Bloom, a woman who witnessed domestic abuse as a child. She grew up and entered a relationship with an abusive boyfriend, played by Baldoni. Standing afar was another character who was deeply in love with her and waiting to rescue her from the miserable relationship.
After the movie’s release in August 2024, the public couldn’t but notice that the once-cordial relationship between Lively and Baldoni had crashed. Lively said Baldoni showed her explicit images and videos and probed into her sex life. She also said that he attempted to introduce sexual scenes to the movie that were outside their initial agreement. Lively also alleged that Baldoni contracted publicists to smear her image on social media.
