Julianne Phillips, born on May 6, 1960, in Evanston, Illinois, Chicago, quickly grew into a name that would capture attention. Shortly after her birth, her parents, William and Ann Phillips, moved the family to Lake Oswego, Oregon, where she spent her formative years. While her father was an insurance broker, her mother was a homemaker. She grew up in a Roman Catholic family and practices Christianity. 

In addition, the former model completed her education at Lake Oswego High School. After graduating high school, she pursued higher education at Brooks College in Long Beach, earning an associate degree in advertising and marketing.

In 1982 she signed a contract with Elite Modeling Agency, kickstarting a career that saw her earnings soar to as much as $2,000 per day. Consequently, her captivating presence led her to Los Angeles, where she made her mark in the music video for .38 Special’s “If I’d Been the One.”

As Julianne Phillips explored the world of entertainment, she ventured into acting.
