It has taken three years of dating for Jon Gosselin and Stephanie Lebo to decide they want to tackle eternity together. The pair are now engaged.
Never mind that it is something he’s done before, Gosselin did not skip any part of the process. He went down on one knee, and there was also a shimmering emerald-cut diamond in the scene.
Gosselin made the surprise proposal on November 23 at a restaurant in Wyomissing, Penn. It was witnessed by both of the couple’s parents, including Stephanie’s father, who was particularly emotional.
“You don’t know how long I waited for this day for you,” he reportedly told his daughter. “I’m so very happy for you and Jon.”

How Did Jon Gosselin and Girlfriend Stephanie Lebo Meet
Jon Gosselin and Stephanie Lebo initially met in 2021 at a mutual friend’s barbecue, and their relationship started shortly after that. However they chose not to publicly disclose their romance until August 2023.
“My previous relationships would all go well in the beginning, but then they’d move to miscommunications and secrets,” Jon once told The Sun. “Trust has always been an issue, but not this time.”
According to him, he and Stephanie Lebo, a research analyst, are “really happy and in love.” “We are very comfortable with each other; it just fits,” he continued. “Plus, all our friends are the same people, instead of ‘Your friends’ and ‘My friends.’”
Who Is Jon Gosselin’s Wife?
Jon Gosselin is currently unmarried. However, that is likely to change soon. The former reality TV star has just gotten engaged to his lover Stephanie Lebo. What Gosselin has is an ex-wife, as he was married to Kate Gosselin from 1999 to 2009.
The marriage was documented on the TLC reality series “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” which costarred their eight children: twins Mady and Cara, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Leah, Joel, Hannah, and Collin.
Since his divorce from Kate, Jon has gradually gotten estranged from his kids with the exception of Collin and Hannah. “I have no idea why they stopped coming. I have no answers. Like, none. It’s the worst.” Jon said in a 2023 episode of Vice TV’s “Dark Side of the 2000s.”

Reports claim Kate Gosselin views Jon Gosselin’s relationship with Stephanie Lebo with indifference. Jon has also mentioned that Kate has no interest in what’s happening in his personal life.
Of course, the disinterest is mutual. Jon Gosselin has also stated that he no longer allows Kate’s opinions to influence his life choices. The former couple are still estranged; however, there are claims Lebo has been in contact with Kate and her kids, which hints at some level of cordiality.
Still, it does not look like their upcoming wedding will be a family reunion, but there is time for that to change.
Lebo gets along with Jon Gosselin’s kids, particularly the ones that live with him. She is also a mother to a teenage daughter, and Jon gets along with her child.

As for further expanding their family, Jon Gosselin and Stephanie Lebo are disinterested. “We’re both fixed, so it’s not happening,” Jon told People in April. “I’m not getting a reversal. It was annoying enough to get it fixed, so I’m not going to go down that road.”
Rather than have more kids, Jon Gosselin, 47, says he and his 36-year-old girlfriend just want to “enjoy life,” something having kids complicates.
