Civil war is brewing in Jesse James’ household. Jess James’ wife, Bonnie Rotten, has filed for divorce yet again. Rotten is also asking the court to grant a temporary restraining order as she alleges physical abuse. Jesse James has equally asked for one on the same grounds. Both parties have shared their side of the story.
According to Jesse James, Bonnie Rotten, who is an adult film star, had been abusing him before their wedding. He claims she attacked him and almost broke his finger before they tied the knot in June 2022. James, 55, said the attacks continued into the wedding and happened multiple times.
While Bonnie Rotten, whose real name is Alaina Hicks, was pregnant, she poked a hole in his neck, he also alleged. She was pregnant with their son Bishop at the time, and she inflicted the injury using her thumbnail, he claimed.
In another instance, he claimed she kicked him from behind when he was about to leave the house following a sharp disagreement. James stated that the kick dislocated his thumb and broke his wrist.
Jesse James also accused Rotten of animal cruelty. He told the court that she had beaten their cats and dogs on multiple occasions. According to him, their son, Bishop, has also picked up the behavior. Based on these allegations, he has asked the court to order that his estranged wife stay away from him and their son.

Why Did Jesse James Wife File for Divorce?
Jesse James’ wife isn’t saying anything too different. She has also asked the court to keep her husband 100 feet away from her and Bishop. Rotten, 31, claimed that James had slapped her in the face before. She also alleged that he punched her in the throat after she accidentally slammed a door and injured him.
In Rotten’s opinion, James filed for a restraining order to make her appear like the villain. She also claimed that his allegations of physical abuse were lies and “part of his ongoing attempt to manipulate and gaslight me.” Rotten told reporters that for her safety, she had since relocated out of the house with her son, Bishop, who was just a year old.
“For the safety and well-being of our child, I will not engage in litigating this matter in the press. I trust the legal process to address these issues appropriately and respectfully ask for privacy during this time,” she said.
This isn’t the first time the pair got close to breaking up their marriage. Rotten had filed for divorce twice in the past. The first time was in December 2022, barely six months after their wedding. She filed for divorce on December 1 because Jesse James was cheating on her. However, she withdrew the application just a few days later.
Rotten shocked everyone again as she filed for divorce on December 6, within a week of the first. What happened afterward remained a secret. The couple found a way to stay together before welcoming Bishop in mid-2023.

Bonnie Rotten is a feature dancer, model, and director who used to be a porn star. She was born on May 9, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was raised by her grandparents. Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten started dating in 2021 in the thick of his divorce with his fourth wife, DeJoria. They tied the knot after one year.
Rotten was full of joy and even penned an adorable Instagram note about her family after she had Bishop. “June twenty-fifth! A very special date in our household because not only is it our 2-year anniversary, but we get to celebrate Bishop’s life every year at the same time,” she wrote.
“I love you so much, @popeofwelding. Thank you for being the man of my dreams and the best dad and husband I could hope for our little guy to grow up and look to as an example,” she added. But Bishop isn’t her only child. Rotten has a daughter from a previous romance.
