On Monday, July 15, 2024, Donald Trump took to Truth Social to announce Senator J.D. Vance as his vice presidential candidate. However, the news wasn’t taken in good faith by all, as popular American actress Jennifer Aniston has come to voice her opinion on Vance. Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram Story

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Aniston took to Instagram, sharing a screenshot of Vance’s statement and a write-up from her. Aniston wrote, “All I can say is, Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.” She continued, “I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option, because you are trying to take that away from her, too.” The 55-year-old actress has struggled with childbirth, sharing her personal story with IVF.

 What Did J.D. Vance Say?

The screenshot, which Aniston posted to her Instagram story, shows Vance and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The interview came in July 2021, when a 39-year-old Ohio Republican was expressing his political views about Democrats. Vance claimed that America was run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies” who were miserable with their lives and their choices. Additionally, Vance stated that those women now wish to bring misery to the entire nation.

Subsequently, Vance highlighted Harris, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as examples. He said, “It’s just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.” Vance asked Carlson if it made sense for the country to be governed by those without a direct stake in it.
