Actress, Jana Kramer experienced a huge scare on Monday, after her 4-year old daughter, Jolie entered a strange SUV at the park. The 37-year-old narrated the experience on Instagram.
“One Tree Hill” star Jana Kramer took to social media to share details about one of her scariest encounters. The actress, 37, recounted how her 4-year-old daughter, Jolie Rae ended up in a white SUV with a stranger.
She began with a recap of how she and her husband, Mike Caussin took the kids to the park to enjoy the nice weather in a familiar environment. The kids got busy upon their arrival, running around with the other kids.
Jolie made a new friend in the process and spent the day playing with her, under Kramer’s supervision. The 37-year-old recalled looking away for a brief moment to attend to her second child, Jace, along with her husband.
However, a lady walked up to the icon the next minute, notifying her that her daughter just entered a white SUV. A bout of fear overcame the actress immediately, prompting her to race towards the said car. She found Jolie with the other kid and an older woman, who turned out to be the kid’s mom, to the star’s relief. Kramer recalled:
“I caught my breath so quick and tried to turn off all the ‘what ifs’ going through my brain. It was an eye-opening experience especially for someone like me who is super present.”
The mother-of-two went on to reflect on the significance of the incident. She explained how it was a reminder to every parent that children could easily end up kidnapped within a blink.
Going further, she stressed the importance of having “the talk” with children as soon as possible, to create stranger-awareness. That in turn, could help avoid such potentially dangerous encounters in the future.

Other parents agreed with the star, utilizing the comment section to recount some of their worst scares and challenges with watching kids.
Many also thanked Kramer for sharing the experience, with most agreeing to have “that talk” with their kids as well. “Bachelor” star, Jamie Notis commented:
“Okkk! Thanks for sharing this bc I’ve never had the talk with my daughter, but I’m definitely going to now! Thank you! So glad everything is ok!”
Jolie came into her parent’s life in January 2016, barely a year after their marriage, marking the dawn of their parenthood journey. A source confirmed her birth shortly after, in an exclusive interview, revealing her name as Jolie Rae Caussin.
In a follow-up interview, the “One Tree Hill” star admitted that the feeling of holding her new baby was indescribable. She also referred to her daughter as a wonderful blessing to both her and her husband.
Since welcoming her daughter, the two have become almost inseparable, sharing pictures of their mother-daughter moments on social media. In 2019, Kramer discussed her daughter’s speech delay and how she gradually overcame the challenge after a series of speech therapy sessions.
The actress and the former NFL player, Michael have since strived to be the best parents to Jolie, as well as their 2-year-old son, Jace. So far, they’ve done a good job!
