In a recent interview, Jana Kramer’s husband has opened up about whether he would allow his wife to participate in a sex scene. His answer was an emphatic “No.” The 43-year-old athlete gave his reasons too. One of which was that it’s “not good for marriage.” But does his wife share the same opinion?
Speaking on the Whine Down podcast, Allan Russell and Jana Kramer were discussing a range of issues, including a sex scene from the rave-of-the-moment series “Yellowstone.” It was alongside the conversation that he disclosed his reservations about letting his wife shoot sex scenes. The former soccer star didn’t mince words in revealing his stand.
“I was just like, ‘There’s not part of me that will ever, ever, ever allow that, ever, for a man to be that close to you like that,’” he stated. Jana then pressed further. She asked him if shooting raunchy scenes for a big series like Yellowstone would make him change his mind. But his answer remained the same.
“I’ll be, like, phoning the producers and threatening the producers — ‘You need to change that scene. For the good of your health, you need to change this scene,’” he disclosed. He added that such scenes are especially risky for actors and actresses who have tied the knot.
“That’s not good for a marriage, that type of role, it’s not, especially [for] a man who’s not in the acting world. It’s difficult. So, therefore, that’s my opinion based on [the fact that] I’m not in that world,” he explained. But what does Jana Kramer think about the matter?

What Was Jana Kramer’s Opinion?
Interestingly, and thankfully, too, Allan Russell secured his wife’s reaction by posing the question to her. “Can you imagine that we’re both actors in a situation where I’ve stripped this woman naked, and I start to go down on her? How would you like that, babe?” he quizzed.
Jana Kramer shared a similar view to her husband, with whom she had been married for less than a year. “It’s literally the most uncomfortable thing ever,” she responded. However, she noted that only the actors and sound technicians are present whenever those scenes are shot. Yet, it’s still not an easy thing to pull off.
“It’s so uncomfortable for the people that are doing it. And it’s not a sexy thing,” she added. Also, she educated Russell after he made a statement she didn’t think was accurate. “You’re locking eyes with another man, and you’re f–king naked,” the Scottish athlete said at some point.
In response, Kramer stated, “You’re never fully naked, though.” But Russell wasn’t going to back down so easily. He countered by saying, “You can see everything.” He also jokingly warned, “You can’t win, so don’t try.”
Who Is Jana Kramer’s First Husband?
Michael Gambino was the first person to tie the knot with Jana Kramer. The pair wedded in 2004 after just two weeks of dating. Kramer later explained how they got married after just a short relationship. “He was a smooth talker,” she stated in an October 2016 interview with PEOPLE.
She also described him as “charming, intriguing, and obviously older.” Kramer was 19 when they met at a coffee shop in Los Angeles. But Gambino was 17 years older than her. “At the time, I liked that. I felt protected,” she stated. Unfortunately, Gambino became a shadow of his sweet self after the wedding.
Kramer recalled that Gambino became easily angry and jealous. She had to stay away from him, sometimes hiding in her car or the bushes at night until he got himself back. She also revealed that Gambino became physically abusive. At one point, he choked her outside of her home till she bled and fell unconscious.
Kramer was finally able to escape from Gambino after he was arrested and convicted of attempted murder. Consequently, he served six years in prison. He came out of prison in 2010 but took his life two years later.

Jana Kramer’s husband, Allan Russell, is a former professional footballer. He was also a part of the coaching crew for the EFL Championship side of Norwich City.
