Who Is Jack Nicholson?
Jack Nicholson is a retired Academy Award-winning actor known for “The Shining,” “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” and many more movies. He was born on April 22, 1937, in Neptune City, New Jersey.
His mother, June Frances Nicholson, was a showgirl who started very young. She married an Italian-American showman Donald Furcillo before discovering he was already married.
June left him but was already pregnant by then. Since she was just 17 years old and unmarried, her parents took her back in and decided to raise Jack as their own, telling him that his mother was his sister.
In 1974, Time magazine researchers learned and informed Jack that his “sister,” June, was his mother, and his other “sister,” Lorraine, was his aunt. This was quite a sad discovery for Jack as his mother and grandparents were already dead by then.
Jack studied in New Jersey and first came to California in 1950, when he was 13, to visit his “sister.” He took a job as an office worker for MGM cartoon studio. They offered him an entry-level job as an animator, but he declined, citing his desire to become an actor.
He trained to be an actor with a group called the “Players Ring Theater,” after which he found small parts performing on the stage and in TV soap operas. He made his film debut in 1958 in a low-budget teen drama, “The Cry Baby Killer,” playing the title role.

Caleb Goddard
Caleb is Jack’s second child, who he shares with Susan Anspach. He is one of the two children Jack has never claimed publicly. Honey Hollman
