Who Is Evan Peters?
Evan Thomas Peters was born on January 20, 1987, to German parents Julie and Phillip Peters in St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised catholic and attended catholic school with his two other siblings, Andrew and Michelle.
Peters moved to Grand Blanc, Michigan, in 2001, where he started a modeling career and took a couple of acting classes at Grand Blanc Community High School. A year later, he moved with his mother to Los Angeles, California, to pursue his acting career.
He debuted in the 2004 drama film “Clipping Adam.” Peters gained wide recognition for playing multiple roles over ten seasons in Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series “American Horror Story” from 2011 to 2021.
Eschewing roles typically reserved for emerging, young stars, Peters has since been known for portraying rebels and outcasts who survived outside the fringes of social norms. He has been featured in other big Hollywood movies such as Marvel’s “X-men” and Netflix’s miniseries “Monster-Dahmer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.”

In an interview with GQ, the actor spoke about working on a set with majorly queer staff and actors. He talked about how much he appreciated the rich diversity and how he had to learn a lot while portraying the role of Stan Bowes. He said:
“Thus [it] is a whole world and culture that I knew nothing about. It has been a massive learning experience and I have grown a lot. I’ve learned a lot from the trans community. They have to deal with way bigger problems than anything I have ever had to deal with. It just makes me humbled”.
