In-N-Out Burger has been around for some 70 years now. However, the franchise does not spread itself thin by hosting an unrealistic menu. So far, the fast food outlet maintains a small list of products, which they modify occasionally.
One of such monumental changes to the In-N-Out menu happened on December 18, 2023, and it made headlines. The fast food franchise unveiled two new beverage options for their teeming customers.
The new kids on the In-N-Out block are Lite Pink Lemonade and Cherry Choke. The Lite Pink Lemonade is a drink option that replaced the Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade. However, there is no cause for alarm for customers avoiding the calories that come with sugar intake. Like its predecessor, In-N-Out’s Lite Pink Lemonade is also sugar-free.
Before now, In-N-Out only served six drinks to go with their fast food. 7 Up, Diet Coke, Coke, Root Beer, Signature Pink Lemonade, and Dr Pepper were the only drinks sold at their outlets. However, the new additions give their customers more options from which to select.
In-N-Out announced the new drinks in style through an Instagram post. The post’s caption reads: “Now serving Lite Pink Lemonade and Cherry Coke! We are so excited to share two new options on our beverage menu that we think you are going to love! Stop by an In-N-Out Burger today to try our new beverages.”
There was a widespread positive response from fast food lovers. The reactions to the In-N-Out Instagram post largely commend the new development. The last time the company added a new menu was in 2018. That year, In-N-Out reintroduced hot cocoa to its menu after removing it for 48 years.
In December, In-N-Out was in the news for something not entirely positive. After opening their first outlet in Idaho, customers had to wait in line for hours to get their orders. Some customers claim they stayed for almost eight hours at the Idaho outlet.
In another streak of expansion, In-N-Out is looking to break ground in New Mexico right after opening the Idaho outlet.

A recent analysis by gambling.com rates In-N-Out cheeseburgers as one of the healthiest in the United States. According to the said study, Whataburger comes first, while In-N-Out trails in second position.
However, a certified dietitian points out that such a study can end up misleading fast-food consumers who don’t know better. According to a registered dietitian, Lori Tolleson, the study’s definition of the word ‘healthy’ is sketchy and questionable.
Collectively, dietitians define healthy food as products that meet the criteria of encouraging a strong and healthy heart. Unfortunately, hardly any fast food meets this criteria, as they are mostly junk food.

Some customers of the burger-slinging company sing its praises, particularly for the cheap prices of their treat burger. However, the massive calories such fast foods contain cannot be wished away.
Dietitians do not condemn occasionally having a treat of a big and greasy burger. However, habitually indulging in fast food can be a shortcut to the fast lane of health deterioration.
