Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer Bad Bunny has given his fans a shocker. The 30-year-old singer kept the door open to a WWE comeback during the Monday, January 13, 2025 interview. His mildly shocking admission came after the reporter asked him about a potential return to the wrestling arena. “I want to do it one more time,” he answered.

“I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn’t risk it enough in the ring, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother,” he continued. His mother, Lysaurie Ocasio has previously expressed worry over his WWE appearances. But the entertainer still misses his time as a wrestler.

“When? I don’t know. We stay in contact with the people at WWE, we’re always paying attention to what’s going on. But when, I don’t know. I hope there’s a time where I can really get ready, like I did the last few times. And I’d love to take more time to get ready physically,” he added.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio also revealed that he has thought about quitting music for his boxing career. “Just like in music, I do this to get better and to do something different. Sometimes, I say, ‘I’m going to quit everything and just do wrestling full time,’” he disclosed.

Triple H and Logan Paul Relish a Bad Bunny WWE Return

Veteran WWE star, Triple H has encouraged Bad Bunny to make a return. The world-renowned wrestler Posted on X in March 2024 as he wished the singer a happy birthday. He seized the opportunity to tell Bad Bunny that the door was always open to him.

“A milestone day for a global superstar. Happy 30th Birthday @sanbenito, you’ll always have a home in @WWE,” he wrote. Triple H accompanied the post with a picture of both of them together. They took the photo during a WWE event. One user responded “His schedule is open H please book him for mania next month.”

Soon after Bad Bunny teased a return to the ring, he got a call out from former colleague Logan Paul. Paul promptly challenged him to a fight. Paul wrote on Instagram, “Then get in the ring with me.”

Bad Bunny has been pretty influential in spreading the popularity of WWE. In 2023, he brought the action to his home country of Puerto Rico. He also spoke about the move in the interview. “Man, I actually feel like it was good for them and for everyone, because I saw that last year Backlash was in France, now it’s going to Mexico. They saw that it worked,” he stated.

What Song Did Bad Bunny Come Out to During the WWE?

Bad Bunny gave his fans a pleasant surprise by debuting a new theme song at the Puerto Rico event. During the 2023 Backlash, which was held on May 6, 2023, he changed his usual “Booker T” song. Bad Bunny sang “Booker T” in 2020. He released the track as part of the second album for that year.

The song had been his entrance song since then. But as he emerged into the arena in Puerto Rico, his track “Chambea” rents the air to the excitement of the crowd. Despite giving a heads-up about his plans to change his theme song, he didn’t mention what song he was planning to use next.

A few seconds into his entrance, the crowd was already chanting joyously the lyrics of the new track. “Chambea” was one of Bad Bunny’s 2017 singles. He released the track in December of that year, just a few months before he unveiled his first album, X 100PRE.

When Did Bad Bunny Start WWE?

The unforgettable Bad Bunny WWE debut took place in the 24/7 Championship in February 2021. He wrestled against and defeated R-Truth in his first-ever match. Bad Bunny later got into the finals with Akira Tozawa, who he also beat to claim the ultimate prize.

Later on in August, Bad Bunny later partnered with Damian Priest at Wrestlemania 37. Together, they were no match for John Morrison and Michael Gregory Mizanin, “The Miz.” The next year, Bad Bunny shocked everyone by clinching a spot at the Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get past WWE heavyweight Brock Lesnar.

Is Bad Bunny Still in WWE?

Bad Bunny’s WWE journey continued until April 2023, when he took Backlash to Puerto Rico. He wrestled for the last time against Priest in a San Juan street fight and emerged victorious. He owes his success in the ring to a skilled array of WWE trainers, such as Adam Pierce, Norman Smiley, and Drew Gulak, who led him through his first match.

But in 2023, he trained under a different set of tutors. This time, he learned the ropes from former ring partner Damian Priest and the highly acclaimed Jamie Noble. While he made his mark in the wrestling arena, he continued to break records in the music world. He bagged the recognition as Spotify’s most streamed artist of the year for three consecutive years (2020-2022).

His parents, Tito Martinez and Lysaurie Ocasio have continued to be some of his greatest motivators all through his musical journey. Despite his mother’s reservations about his participation in wrestling, she will continue rooting for him if he returns to the ring.
