In the images, the “Little Mermaid” actress showcased her workouts, her pool time, and her time in a recording studio. Captioning the post with a pink heart and smiling face, Bailey wrote, “Life is beautiful.”
Subsequently, the renowned singer and actress took to her Instagram Story to share more pictures, except this time, her caption came with subtle intent. Adding the Destiny’s Child breakup ballad “Survivor,” Bailey captioned her story with the lyrics. Reacting to her post, Halle Bailey’s older sister, Chloe Bailey, replied to the post, commenting, “I love you.”

In 2022, while speaking on how she met DDG, the former Chloe X Halle singer stated that she had met him while he was a YouTube content creator.
Bailey continued, “I completely forgot about him. But then I saw that he was dropping music, and I really gravitated toward this one song. Coincidentally, he messaged me, and the rest is history.” After reconnecting, they confirmed their relationship in 2022, with the singer stating she was definitely in love with DDG.

However, in April 2024, Bailey’s representative stepped in to clarify that the pair were still together. The representative also stated that they did not explain their decision to unfollow one another. However, on October 3, 2024, the duo finally went their separate ways, confirming the breakup via Instagram.
