On her social media account, Grimes’ mother has accused her daughter’s former partner, Elon Musk, of hiding their children. Consequently, it prevents them from visiting their great-grandmother, who is on her deathbed in Canada.
On Saturday, July 27, 2024, Grimes’ mother, Sandy Garossino, took to her X account to make a “grandmother’s plea.” Garossino took to her page to post a series of tweets, all directed toward the Platform CEO, Musk.
Grimes’ Mom Request to Elon Musk
Given her experience as a columnist for Canada’s National Observer, Garossino has modeled her tweet pattern in the form of a letter. Garossino began by mentioning seeing Musk on Father’s Day and inquiring about the card from his son, X Æ A-Xii. Subsequently, Garossino asked Musk whether he had received the card, and his son had requested her help in making the card and was particularly proud of it.
Garossino stated that she was only writing on the app as she had no other means of reaching Musk. She continued, “As you know, my 93-year-old mother is now in end-of-life palliative care. She yearns to see and hold Claire’s children one last time. Especially the youngest, whom she has not yet met.”
Garossino stated that her mother had been anxious to see her great-grandkids, who were scheduled to be around on her birthday on Saturday, July 27, 2024. However, the excitement and happiness were short-lived after learning that their trip was canceled. Garossino continued, “I am alarmed to learn that the children cannot come as you are withholding them and their needed passport documents from Claire.”
She claimed that seeing Musk and X on TV at the Paris Olympics was disturbing after his DC trip. Musk attended the opening ceremony of the Olympics on Friday, July 26, 2024, some days after his Wednesday, July 24, 2024, trip to the nation’s capital.
A Grandmother’s Plea.
Subsequently, Garossino asked where Musk’s other children were and whom they were supposed to be with while he was in Paris. Garossino had replied to her question, “They are scheduled to be with their mother,” before continuing that her grandkids were expected here in Canada.
Grimes and Elon Musk’s Relationship
Grimes and Musk started their relationship in 2018 after meeting on Twitter, now known as X. They had realized that they had both conceived of a pun about Rococo and the thought experiment Roko’s basilisk. Grimes and Musk share three kids named X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno. X Æ A-Xii pronounced “X Ash A Twelve” is more commonly addressed as “X”, and was born in May 2020. X was Grimes and Musk’s child together. Subsequently, in December 2021, Grimes and Musk welcomed their second child and first daughter together via surrogacy. The couple had named their daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl pronounced as “sigh-deer-ee-el,” although she has been nicknamed Y.

According to Grimes, her 2018 collaborator, Go Won, of the South Korean girl group Loona, is X Æ A-Xii’s godmother.
