Frank Sinatra’s daughter Tina has shared her thoughts on an AI ad that featured a likeness of her late father. She gave Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg permission to use the late legend’s likeness in their new Still G.I.N. commercial. And the result blew everyone, including her, away.

76 is a conservative age. But Tina Sinatra was liberal enough to let them create an AI replica of her father. In an exclusive quote to PEOPLE, she shared what seeing AI Frank engage with the two iconic rappers in the time-bending commercial felt like.

“To see Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg alongside my dad and Sammy Davis Jr. in such a revolutionary way is both thrilling and surreal,” she said. “It’s a celebration of timeless artistry, breaking barriers and the enduring legacy of collaboration across generations.”

The futuristic ad was released on Tuesday, December 10. It features Dre, 59, and Snoop, 53, interacting with the AI versions of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior. The two died in 1998 and 1990 respectively.

In the ad, the late musicians can be seen having a conversation in formal wear at an elegant bar. Then, they spot Dre and Snoop walking through the crowded space. They see the other bar patrons hyping up the two rappers, and the late singer asks, “Now, who the hell are these guys?”

Davis. Jr. responds by saying, “I heard those are the new gangsters in town.” Curious, Sinatra asks their bartender to introduce them to the newcomers, after which they decide to share a drink together.

“So what’s your pleasure? What are you guys drinking?” Davis Jr. asks, and Snoop and Dre answer, naming their gin brand. “Okay. Still G.I.N. for everybody!” Sinatra says, resulting in a cheer from the crowd.

Who Created Frank Sinatra’s AI Ad?

A lot of work went into making the ad release a success. According to a press release, the production team worked with Frank Sinatra and Davis’s estates to ensure both stars were properly represented.

Still, G.I.N — which launched in February and is co-owned by Dre and Snoop — partnered with creative agency Rosewood Creative’s acclaimed director Dave Meyers and the generative AI company Metaphysic to create the ad.

According to the statement that came with the release, the ad captures “the balance of classic and modern” that defines the gin brand and “cinematically bridges past, present and future generations of superstars.” The ad airs during The Voice season finale. It also marks the end of Snoop’s first season as a coach on the show.

Who Is Frank Sinatra’s Daughter?

Frank Sinatra had two daughters before his demise. He also had a male child named Francis Wayne Sinatra, aka Frank Jr; they were all products of his marriage to his first wife, Nancy Barbato Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra’s daughter, Tina, was born on Father’s Day, June 20, 1948. She and her two siblings were primarily raised by their mother, Nancy Sr.. After the couple split in 1951, Frank Sinatra did not stop showing his love for them.

“I was on the road all the time and away most of the time, and then right on top of that kind of lifestyle came the divorce of your mother, so that wasn’t very good of being a father,” he told his daughter Nancy in their interview. “But, on the other hand, I’ve always loved you three kids, constantly, 24 hours a day, worried about you all the time, thought about you.”

Tina told The Republic in 2015. “He took us on trips, like any other parents, sometimes without Mom. And we had a little more fun when we were with him. He was home always for our birthdays, or he’d see that we got to him.”

What Does Tina Sinatra Do For A Living?

Frank Sinatra’s daughter Tina studied acting under the actor Jeff Corey, and she also shares her father’s musical talents, which she showcased on the 1968 Christmas album, “The Sinatra Family Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Tina is known for her work in the series “Fantasy Island” and for keeping her father’s legacy alive. She executive produced Sinatra’s 1992 miniseries, “Sinatra”, and later produced the 2004 remake of her father’s 1962 film, “The Manchurian Candidate.”

After her father passed in 1998, Tina reflected on the legacy he left behind. “It’s like, he’s in my life,” she informed PEOPLE in 2015. “People don’t forget their parents when they die, if they knew them well. My parent feels like he’s with me … I don’t feel separated from him and breached [from him].”

Little wonder she enjoyed seeing him in the new AI ad. Their bond has barely diminished in the years since his death.
