Noelia Voigt is engaged to Jack Henry Hendrix, who popped the question at the culmination of events that took months of planning.
Hendrix proposed to Voight on November 30 at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Voigt had been his girlfriend for six years before he finally proposed with a marquise-cut diamond featuring two gold bands.

Former Miss USA Noelia Voigt Engaged at One of Her Favourite Places
As earlier stated, Hendrix proposed to Voight at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Sarasota just so happens to be where Voight was born and raised, and the museum is one of her “favorite places ever.”
Voigt told PEOPLE: “It’s also one of the very first places that I took Jack Henry to when he came with me to Sarasota for the first time after we started dating in 2018.” A lot of thought was clearly put into the proposal which they say took about six months to plan.

Voigt’s photographer, Carlos Velez, was in on it from the start. He distracted Voight from figuring it out by saying he was in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and wanted to shoot some post-Miss USA content with her.
Of course, the precocious Voigt wasn’t entirely fooled. “I remember thinking that morning as I got ready and drove to the location that it could finally be the time that I was getting engaged. But I did not know 100%,” she said. “It was just a spidey sense.”
According to Hendrix, the proposal was especially “difficult to plan, pull off, and keep away” from Voigt because she is “basically an investigative reporter when it comes to surprises.”
How Noelia Vight’s Proposal Went Down
Upon their arrival at the museum, Voigt and her photographer started with the usual, walking around, trying to find the best lighting. Velez subsequently pulled out his phone and suggested they get some behind-the-scenes video footage.
He had Voigt walk down a long hallway in the courtyard toward him. Once she reached him, he asked her to repeat the motion. As Voigt turned around to return to her starting point, she found Hendrix waiting for her.
“So when I turned around to face Carlos again, Jack Henry was standing there waiting for me. I was in complete shock when I saw him there,” Voigt says. “I always thought that I would ugly cry during my proposal,” she said. “But thankfully, I was able to keep it together, albeit my eyes did get a bit misty. But it was just all smiles, excitement, and joy.”
Some minutes later, the newly engaged couple’s families, completely sworn to secrecy, joined them in the celebration. “There were definitely tears flowing from them! It was so sweet,” Voight said. Notably, the proposal comes almost seven months after Noelia Voigt retired from her Miss USA 2023 title for mental health reasons.

Noelia Voigt’s resignation from Miss USA had many in shock. The beauty queen reportedly resigned from her Miss USA 2023 title due to mental health reasons. Days after her resignation, Miss Hawaii Savannah Gankiewicz accepted the crown while Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava stepped down from hers in solidarity.
Despite abdicating her crown, Voigt says she is “always going to be an advocate for mental health awareness and support.” Fans were shocked by the resignations. But a resignation letter she tendered around the same time shed more light on why she’s leaving.
What Noelia Voigt’s Resignation Letter Revealed
Voigt highlighted Miss USA CEO Laylah Rose’s lack of communication as one of the reasons for her exit. Voight claimed Rose consistently failed to communicate and that when she did, she was “often cold and unnecessarily aggressive.”
“It’s incredibly jarring to be trying to do my job and constantly be threatened with disciplinary action, including taking away my salary, for things that were never discussed with me and, if it related to a public-facing post, for example, were causing no issue other than not meeting her personal preference,” Voigt wrote.
Rose denied the allegations in a statement, claiming that “the well-being of all individuals associated with Miss USA is my top priority.” Included in Voight’s letter were details about an alleged incident of sexual harassment at a Christmas event in Florida. It saw her alone in a car with a man who “made several inappropriate statements” to her about his desire to be with her.
Voight also accused Rose in the letter of badmouthing her to others in the organization and painting her as “uninterested” in her job. Voigt cited a toxic work environment at Miss USA, which she says is unsafe for future Miss Universe Organization title holders.
Claudia Michelle, a former social media manager who has also submitted her resignation, has echoed similar sentiments about Miss USA management.

No, Noelia Voigt resigned from the Miss USA franchise because she could no longer endure the toxic work environment. “I am now diagnosed with Anxiety and have to take two medications daily to manage the symptoms due to consistently being on edge, worrying about what Laylah will pop up with and choose to harass me about daily,” she revealed in her letter.
She also wrote that she had flare-ups of a pre-existing condition that is worsened by stress. Not only that, she is also allegedly experiencing “heart palpitations, full body shakes, loss of appetite, unintentional weight loss, loss of sleep, loss of hair, and more.” All of that forced her to resign in a move that prioritizes her mental health and happiness.
