Lizzo’s weight loss is a topic that inspires some and leaves others fuming at what they feel must be a con story. Not only did the talented female singer/rapper have the audacity to start slimming down, but she has done it in record time while denying the use of things like Ozempic.
Rumors that the singer uses Ozempic have been circulating for quite some time, but Lizzo doesn’t seem to care that they make light of her efforts. The pop star has even defiantly implied that the speculations make her feel proud as they are proof that whatever she is doing is working.

What Does Lizzo Look Like After Her Weight Loss?
According to pictures she shared over the weekend, Lizzo’s weight loss has paid off. However, some of her fans think that the results are too good to be true, as the talented singer now looks almost skinny, a far cry from the plus-size body shape she used to boldly promote as part of her brand.
In the past, Lizzo was unapologetic about her size, and it seemed like she would even maintain it indefinitely, which gave some confidence to other BBW women like her. Now, those women who used to be able to identify with her think she looks too skinny.
“How you get skinny so fast ??” one fan asked, while another, convinced others could not see the change, pointed it out: “Yo Lizzie lost mad weight.”
“Girl I thought you were all about being comfortable in your skin!? One angry fan fumed. “You were the last REAL celebrity who didn’t get all scary over the haters. I’m so disappointed. I liked you better curvy and natural.”
Alongside the montage of solo snaps showcasing Lizzo’s weight loss, she also posted a video of her mother, Shari Johnson-Jefferson, with the caption: “My mom stole my hairstyle & ate me up.” In the shots, Lizzo’s mom was rocking the same hairstyle and twinning with her daughter.
The audio Lizzo used with the video was from “The Kardashians,” and it heard Kim Kardashian accusing Kourtney Kardashian of copying her by holding her wedding in Italy.
Did Lizzo Use Ozempic for Weight Loss?
Lizzo has kept her fans updated on her weight loss journey on social media over the past few months, with the star sharing a clip of herself in the gym in September. “IM NOT SKINNY IM FHICK,” she argued at the time, seemingly shutting down those urging her not to get skinny.
While many may suspect that she has joined the long list of celebrities using ozempic to deal with body fat, the singer denies using the popular drug.
She even made light of the rumors by cosplaying as the Type 2 diabetes drug for Halloween in October. During the national holiday, the hitmaker could be seen posing in a replica of the popular drug with a tape measure around her waist.
In one snap, she seemingly starred in a faux advertisement for LizzOzempic, but its own side effect was putting “a smile on your face and pep in your step.” The faux advertisement also included a quote that read, “Need self-love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt, gain confidence.”
Has Lizzo Undergone Weight Loss Surgery?
There is little or no evidence to support claims that Lizzo’s weight loss was a result of any form of weight loss surgery. The singer has repeatedly stated publicly that she owes her weight loss to diet and exercise.
