It is very rare to meet your soulmate as a child, but that is exactly what happened with Nina, Ryan Day’s wife. They may not have known it, but their love story started long before they knew what romance was.
Their family moved more than 10 times because of Ryan’s coaching career before landing in Ohio. Ryan was named head coach at Ohio State University in 2019, and Nina has since been dubbed the “First Lady of Ohio State Football” by their Columbus community.
“I don’t think any other place compares to [Ohio State]. This place is very, very special. We knew it the minute we got here,” she once shared.
Nina is all a coach can ask for in a woman. She has supported her husband through thick and thin. She was recently spotted cheering her husband’s team from the stands on January 10 when the Buckeyes faced off against the Texas Longhorns in the 2024-25 College Football Playoffs semifinals in Dallas. Here’s all you need to know about her.
