In March 2023, Jonathan Majors was accused of physically abusing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in New York. According to the Manhattan DA, Majors hit Jabbari in the face with an open palm, causing pain and a cut behind her ear.
According to Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, Majors “absolutely denies attacking Jabbari.” Chaudhry continued that Jabbari had manipulated her account of the incident, making her look more like a victim. Additionally, Chaudhry stated that not only was Jabari’s version of the story untrue, but she also kept changing it.
Chaudhry said, “Yet this false case continues; the woman’s claimed location shifts, and her story morphs. This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims.” The attorney added, “Instead of dismissing the allegations in the face of the woman’s clear lies, the DA has adjusted the charges to match the woman’s new lies.”
What Was Jonathan Majors in Court For?
According to court documents, in the early hours of March 25, 2023, Jonathan Majors slapped Grace Jabbari, twisting her arm and shattering her finger. Subsequently, the filing revealed that Majors was being tried on two minor assault charges and two counts of harassment.

Afterward, in December 2023, after a two-week trial, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree. He was also found guilty of recklessly causing bodily harm and second-degree harassment. Consequently, Majors was ordered to take part in a domestic abuse treatment program for a year.
During the trial’s closing hours, Majors’ attorney presented a closing argument regarding his innocence, leaving Majors and Good in tears. However, in April 2024, a judge granted Jabbari a complete temporary protection order against Majors.
However, in May 2024, Chaudhry stated that Majors was filing a domestic violence complaint, recounting his time with Jabbari as a nightmare.

While Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors have maintained a romantic relationship for over a year, the couple remains unmarried. After Majors addressed her as “the missus” on September 25, 2023, speculation about the couple getting married began.
