His mom, Shante, is a philanthropist and businesswoman who has had Snoop in a marital chokehold for decades.
She was born on October 30, 1971, in California. She attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where she met Snoop Dogg. Their union faced problems that saw them separate over irreconcilable differences in 2004.

Outside his professional career, Corde Broadus has made headlines repeatedly because of his personal affairs, including his relationship with longtime girlfriend Jessica Kyzer.
The pair welcomed a baby boy in January 2015, officially making Snoop Dogg a grandfather at 43. Corde and Kyzer, a model and a freelance makeup artist, dated long before they married in 2014.
His relationship with Kyzer fell apart in the years that followed, and he moved on with Soraya Love, a fashion stylist from Los Angeles. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Eleven Love, on August 18, 2018.
In 2019, they welcomed another child, Kai Love. However, in September of the same year, Kai passed away just ten days after his birth. Corde did not reveal the cause of the death of the baby.
