Nancy Iskander, the mother of two California boys who were brutally killed by an influential and wealthy woman in Los Angeles, has revealed her intention to visit her sons’ killer in prison. This unfortunate incident happened on September 29th, 2020, when Rebecca Grossman sped through a crosswalk and killed two of the three sons that Iskander was walking with.

According to reports, she hit the crosswalk at a jarring speed of 81mph, and both the two boys, Jacob and Mark, died from their injuries. According to reports, Grossman had alcohol and other drugs in her system while driving, leading to her recklessness. At the time, Mark was only 11 years old, while Jacob was 8.

Their third brother, Zachary, was five years old and was able to dive to safety with their mum. After realizing what she had done, Grossman fled the scene. The popular LA socialite is a rich philanthropist and a co-founder of a notable burn center in the state. Therefore, she has a lot of influence and power and tried to evade justice throughout the entire trial period.

According to the prosecutors, Grossman is a “completely self-serving” narcissist who believes she did no wrong. She never apologized or took responsibility for her actions, and this has bothered many people. During the trial, she tried to leak many court documents and also tried to get through to witnesses in order to manipulate the outcome.

At the end of the trial, she was found guilty and convicted of two counts of second-degree murder and fleeing the scene of an accident. She was also given a 15-year sentence for each count, which would run concurrently. She can also be eligible for parole in just eight years. Therefore, the prosecution is not happy with this verdict.

This is because Grossman has shown no remorse for killing two young children who were just starting out in life. She believed that she could buy her freedom due to her immense wealth, and a lenient verdict only proves that right. Therefore, prosecutors are asking the judge for the maximum sentence, which is 34 years to life imprisonment.

Even after she was convicted, she never showed any signs of remorse, and the prosecutors are disappointed that Judge Joseph Brandolino has simply rewarded her for that. In a very similar case, a 25-year-old man who hit and killed a grandmother and her granddaughter who were on a motorcycle got 30 years to life in prison.

Therefore, prosecutors believe Grossman’s sentence to equally be stricter than what she got. However, Grossman’s lawyers believe that it was a fair verdict because she is a first time offender, even though she has had driving charges dated all the way back to 2000.

Now, the mother of the two boys would like to visit Grossman in person and ask her a few questions. She wants to know if she feels any remorse and if she regrets ever killing her kids. Is she sorry, and is she willing to take full responsibility? These are the questions that Nancy Iskander would like to have her children’s killer answer so she can move on and forgive if she deserves or earns her forgiveness.
