Bruce Springsteen is undoubtedly a fan of Jeremy Allen White!

The music veteran confessed that he enjoyed White’s vocal performance in the upcoming biopic “Deliver Me from Nowhere”. This was during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, October 18.

Springsteen mentioned that it’s a lovely cast and that he is involved a little. He spoke about Allen White’s portrayal of him in the movie. Springsteen further noted that it is not easy because it requires a personal interpretation rather than an imitation. He added that although it is difficult, Allen White is a great actor and sings pretty well.

Springsteen’s remarks about “The Bear” star’s singing abilities came after he stated that he was pleased with the biopic after reading the script. Springsteen shared that he has seen the scripts and spoken to the director. He mentioned that they are just putting it all together, so he does not have much to say about it yet.

However, he is excited about it happening, as he told fellow musician Zach Bryan during an interview for Rolling Stone. He continued, saying that it would be an interesting story and emphasized that the film has a really good screenplay. He added that he feels good about the whole project.

What Was Bruce Springsteen’s Number One Hit?

Bruce Springsteen’s only number-one hit is actually a cover of his song “Blinded by the Light” by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.

While the song holds a special place in his heart, the version that topped the hit parade leaves a bad taste in his mouth. “Blinded By The Light” is the opening track on Bruce Springsteen’s debut album, “Greetings From Astbury Park, N.J.,” which peaked at number one four years later, in 1973.

Springsteen was still on the fringes of the mainstream when he made his debut, and his version failed to chart. The singer was thrilled when the British band Manfred Mann opted to perform it in 1977.

However, when he initially heard the song, his feelings rapidly changed after the band misheard his words and accidentally wrecked it. His original line was “cut loose like a deuce,” while their version mistakenly sang “cut loose like a douche.”
