Brandi Glanville is speaking up about her present medical crisis and its impact on her life.
The 52-year-old Real Housewives of “Beverly Hills” alum discussed the medical issue impacting her face on the December 29 episode of her podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered. There, she revealed that she had not been sexual with anyone in over a year.
The reality TV personality revealed that she recently met with plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow from the show “Botched.” He estimated that it could take up to “five years” for her face to return to its usual form.
Brandi Glanville mentioned on the podcast that five years is too long for her to wait. She expressed that she has things to do, places to go, and people to make out with. She also shared that she has not had sex since last October, has not kissed or made out with anyone, and has not really socialized.

Glanville declared that, although Dubrow is a wonderful man, he just does not align with her current goals. She stated that she finally wants a more thorough medical examination to determine what is wrong with her.
The reality TV star explained that she wants to run tests, get another MRI and CAT scan, and do everything possible to get to the bottom of her health issue. She does not want to guess what it is. However, despite consulting multiple doctors, she currently has no real answers.
She pointed out that she has received four different opinions from four different doctors about what it could be, and since they are stumped, so is she. She joked that her face was messed up, but she had 50 good years.
Despite her frustration with her current condition, Glanville stated that coming public with her health difficulties relieved a lot of weight on her. It also made her feel like she no longer had to hide. She revealed that she had been hiding and isolating herself in her agony. She had refused to express her feelings with or see anyone.
What Happened to Brandi Glanville’s Face?
In January 2024, the reality star revealed her diagnosis of angioedema from the previous year. She stated that the disease causes her face to enlarge to the point that she is unable to speak or taste meals. “I would go into anaphylactic shock constantly,” Glanville said, adding that the problem began in August 2023.
According to the Mayo Clinic, angioedema is swelling in the skin’s deeper layers and other tissues. Angioedema, similar to hives, frequently appears around the face and lips and often includes an itchy, raised rash.
Glanville said that her condition became so severe in October 2023 that she required hospitalization, prompting her son to call 911.
The reality TV star claims she’s spent “over $70,000” thus far, and each treatment she’s attempted has only provided a temporary solution. She acknowledged being “stressed” dealing with medical expenditures while not working for the past two years.
Glanville claimed that when she “messes with it,” she can see and feel the mysterious “parasite” move within her face, which appears as little bubbles bursting on her skin. She went on to say that it feels like the parasite is excreting or having offspring in her face. After visiting several doctors, she stated that she is no longer hopeful.

Brandi Glanville revealed losing five teeth due to her ongoing health issues. The stress-induced angioedema caused her face to swell and shift her teeth. Glanville thanked her friend and former co-star Phaedra Parks for introducing her to a dentist, Dr. Anjali Rajpal, who offered to help. She stated that over the holidays, Dr. Rajpal has given her the gift of “smiling again. “

They are in the procedure, and Glanville is thrilled to have one new tooth in the rear. She can now eat normally, rather than merely with the front of her teeth, and smile again. Although it is still a work in progress, she stated that she is truly pleased for the first time in roughly two years.
Glanville stated that the infected tooth “could have done a lot more damage” if she had not noticed it while addressing her stress-induced angioedema.
