Former President Barack Obama revealed in a recent interview that neither of his daughters will ever get into politics, thanks to advice from their mother, Michelle. The 62-year-old former president said this while attending a fundraiser event for President Joe Biden on June 15th in Los Angeles, California.
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Barack was asked many questions by the famous host and this was where he gave his insight into the lives of his beautiful daughters. When Kimmel asked him at the Peacock Theater if any of his two daughters would ever go into politics and who he believes would be a better president of the U.S., Barack was very clear with his answer.
He said that this was a question that he didn’t think he would ever need to answer because it wasn’t ever going to happen. According to him, his wife Michelle had told them repeatedly to avoid a life in politics. She emphasized this before he became president and also after he was done with his tenure.

While Barack clearly believes that both his children are “powerful young women,” he is also sure that they would never consider such a career. His two daughters are Malia and Sashaj Obams who are currently 25 and 22 years old, respectively. The former first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, who is currently 60 years old, has also taken her own advice as she is not into politics either.
Therefore, it is safe to say that the Obamas have served their nation through Barack and would not be involved in politics anymore. It is also clear that their two daughters are taking their mum’s advice by going in a different direction from their dad. Malia has taken up a career in the entertainment industry and is already racking up credits in her name.

She is credited as Malia Ann in her movie and is quite proud of her work, too. The movie is about a man who is grieving the death of his mother.
While discussing with Sundance, Malia said that she hoped that people would enjoy the film and feel a little less lonely or remind people of those people in the world who are lonely everyday.
