Shammas’ Relationship With Lohan
Bader Shammas and Lindsay Lohan reportedly met in Dubai, where the banker is based. Their relationship kicked off following the “Parent Trap” star’s move to Dubai, a city she resided in for seven years to avoid the spotlight.
He first caught public eyes in February 2020 after the actress shared a group photo of herself with members of the rock band Bastille in a Dubai rock concert.
Grinning beside her was the handsome bloke whom she referred to as her boyfriend in the now-deleted post. She also gushed about their magical night, further raising brows. It seemed the star shared the post in the heat of the moment as she edited the caption soon after, eventually deleting it completely.
While the pair remained committed to keeping things private, several sources confirmed the romance. In 2021, an insider revealed Lohan and Shammas’ relationship was going strong.
The source also confirmed they’d been together for two years and had marriage in the books. However, a rep for the couple failed to confirm the romance speculations at the time.
After dating for three years, Shammas popped the big question and she said yes. The Hollywood icon took to Instagram to spill the news in November 2021, sharing photos of them together.
She accompanied the pics, which showed her engagement ring, with a loved up post describing Shammas as her “life, her family and her future”
He Has The Approval Of Lohan’s Family
Following their engagement announcement, Lindsay Lohan’s mom Dina Lohan took to Instagram to share her excitement, saying “my heart is full.”
Prior to that, the momager had nothing but praise for her daughter’s “rumored boyfriend,” describing him as a good guy. However, she never name-dropped, opting instead to let her daughter share the news with the world when she was ready.
Additionally, Ali Lohan, the 35-year old’s sister featured in her first-ever post about Shammas from February 2020, showing they hung in the same circle. Reacting to the engagement announcement, the actress’ brother Dakota Lohan referred to the couple as his best friends.
Michael Lohan, the reality star’s dad also had some sweet words for the couple. He admitted to being proud of his daughter, her latest milestone, and all “she’s doing in life.”
Bader Shammas Is A Dream Come True
Lindsay Lohan has been open about exactly what it takes to be her ideal dream guy and Shammas seems like the perfect fit. In a 2019 sit-down with Howard Stern, the “Freaky Friday” star, who grew up in the spotlights and had her chaotic life constantly splashed on the tabloids, revealed she wanted a partner who was not in the public eye.
Going further, the 35-year-old stated she wanted a businessman who had no social media accounts and who was off the grid in terms of that. Interestingly, she crossed paths with Shammas around that time. Their romance seemed too much of a coincidence as the engineering graduate leaves a very private life.
The banker’s LinkedIn account notably has no profile picture. His Instagram account is private and boasts of less than a thousand followers. Additionally, working as a financier certainly involves lots of business management skills. It seems Lohan finally found her guy.
