Following the finalization of her divorce from Brad Pitt, news came out that Angelina Jolie’s brother, James Haven, had married Romi Imbelli in secret. On Wednesday, January 1, 2024, Just Jared revealed that Haven had tied the knot with his partner and star of “The Real L Word,” Imbelli.
However, the outlet stated the wedding was privately held at Laguna Beach, California, on August 12, 2024. According to the outlet, the ceremony was attended by family members, including Jon Voight, Haven’s father. However, the outlet stated that James Haven’s famous sister, Angelina Jolie, was not at the ceremony.
The revelation came after Imbelli took to Instagram on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, to announce her marriage. Captioning her post, Imbelli wrote, “In 2024, I married my best friend of 23 years. The details of our story are too personal and complicated to share now, but I am writing it all in my book.”
Imbelli continued, “Our wedding day was intimate, just us and our parents while exchanging vows, with plans to have a larger celebration later. I feel liberated and ready to return to my husband and our home. I will always hold 2024 deeply in my heart. Life is too short. Go out and live it.”

James Haven is the son of Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand and the older brother of actress Angelina Jolie. Haven is a former American actor born in Los Angeles, California, on May 11, 1973. In 1998, Haven started working as a professional actor, gaining small parts in a number of movies alongside his sister, Jolie.

For the earlier years of her career, Haven has been a pillar of Jolie’s life both privately and publicly. In 2000, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she opened up about her relationship with Haven.
Jolie said, “He and I were each other’s everything, always, and we have been best friends.” After Jolie divorced Pitt, it is believed that Haven was fired as the full-time caretaker for her six children. The siblings haven’t been seen in public together since then, but Haven remains close to his niece and nephew.

Speaking with the Daily Mail, Haven said, “My sister is too particular for me, so perhaps I have not found the perfect woman. My sister and I are the first two filters that any lady must pass through. I am naturally a perfectionist. I feel like I already have the ideal lady in my life because of how close I am to Angie, and it is difficult for anybody else to live up to that.”
