Allison Holker’s daughter is coming to her mom’s defense. The teenager is speaking up following widespread resentment over her mom’s handling of her late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s funeral. Allison Holker drew public anger after asking mourners to sign a nondisclosure agreement. But Weslie Fowler wanted to set the records straight.
She took to Instagram on Friday, January 10, 2025, to dispel negative notions about her mother’s motives. In the Instagram live session that lasted more than 30 minutes, Fowler did all she could to clear the air. She also described how loving Boss was to her even though she was his stepdaughter.
“My stepdad’s been gone for two years, and I’m still getting hate comments,” she lamented. “I just feel things need to be addressed, and I would rather it come from me to defend my family than anybody else because I feel like it’s important,” she added.
Former Ellen Dj, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and Allison Holker got married in 2013. They had a blissful union until Boss died in 2022 at the age of 40. He was found lifeless at an Encino, California hotel with a gunshot wound to his head. He also reportedly left a note which contributed to the suicide verdict of investigators.
Allison Holker stirred up public anger after she granted an interview with “PEOPLE” where she allegedly “spilled” Boss’s dirty secrets. Angered by her interview, Boss’s relatives fired back at her. One of the accusations against Holker’s action was that she was trying to exploit his death. The relatives also disclosed that Holker made people sign an NDA at Boss’ funeral.

What Comment Did Allison Holker’s Daughter Make?
Responding in the live video, Fowler lamented the impact of the negative press surrounding her father’s death. She also revealed how dangerous it was going to be for her siblings.
“I’m so sick of getting hate comments and seeing my mom get hate for literally losing the person that she loves, and I have siblings. This is their dad. This is who they’re gonna grow up, and they’re gonna see all this on social media that’s so hurtful,” she further stated.
Responding to the NDA issue, Weslie Fowler stated that one of the days of the funeral was for an open casket viewing of the deceased. “My mom asked for NDAs to be signed when we were seeing Stephen’s body because God forbid somebody that went to that took a photo of Stephen and put it on the internet or shared it with somebody else.”
“That’s the type of thing that NDAs are for. It’s not so you can never talk about Stephen,” Fowler added. Angry commentators had accused Holker of putting the NDA in place so people wouldn’t talk about her late husband.

During the interview, Holker revealed plans to release a memoir of her life and her marriage to Boss. Holker, who is currently in a relationship, said that the book will hit the shelves on February 4, 2025.
As the interview progressed, she disclosed how she found multiple substances, such as pills and mushrooms, that her late husband left behind at his death. “It was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I didn’t know existed,” she stated.
“It was a really scary moment in my life to figure that out,” she continued. “But it also helped me process that he was going through so much and he was hiding so much, and there must have been a lot of shame in that,” she added.
The statements sparked outrage from family and friends of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who was also the co-host of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” One of his cousins replied to news of the interview on X. She debunked Holker’s claims and accused her of keeping his kids away from his family.
“He wasn’t an addict. He smoked weed and was actively trying to quit … wasn’t some junkie,” she wrote. Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss had three kids: Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia. Maddox Laurel Boss and Zaia Boss are 8 and 5 years old, respectively.
“This crazy woman made me and his actual family, including (his mom) sign a non-disclosure agreement,” the cousin wrote in another tweet. “She’s been trying to tarnish his legacy … Only to exploit and LIE on my cousin. Hell no.”

How Old Is Allison Holker’s Oldest Daughter?
Weslie Fowler, Allison Holker’s oldest daughter, is 16. Holker had her in 2008 from a previous relationship. After their marriage, Boss adopted her. According to Weslie, Boss treated her like she wasn’t adopted.
“Boss was a great father and husband, too. I need to remember that we still shared such a great love, and he was such a great dad,” Holker said in her interview with “PEOPLE.” But Boss’ family and friends don’t think she has shown it since his death. Her interview and the potentially negative comments about Boss in her upcoming book “This Far” are all the proof they need.
Aside from Boss’ cousin, his friend, fitness instructor, and former guest at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Kelly Gibson expressed her displeasure at the interview. “The whole thing makes me sad. He’s gone. Why tear apart his name?” she wrote on Instagram. Holker answered by stating, “I’ll always love you. Just trying to help people feel safe to ask for help and support.”
