Alexis Bledel, who famously played Rory Gilmore on “Gilmore Girls” has excelled in her career and personal life since the television series went off-air in 2007. In the last decade, this Hollywood icon has achieved what many could only dream of.

Alexis Bledel’s “Gilmore Girls” character was a typical high schooler and daughter to Lorelai Gilmore and Christopher Hayden. She was born and raised in the small town of Stars Hollow.

The movie centered on the lives of the mother-daughter duo, Rory and Lorelai Gilmore, who were best of friends. Rory easily proved herself the star child in Stars Hollow with her dedication to her studies and dreams of going to Harvard.

With the help of her grandparents, Richard and Emily Gilmore, she saw her way through the prestigious Chilton Academy. However, she gained acceptance into Yale, as against her long upheld Harvard dreams.

They became engaged in 2013, tying the knot by June the next year in a secret ceremony in California. The twosome has since welcomed a son, whom they have strived to keep away from the media since his birth in 2015.

Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore, Rory’s mom achieved superstardom with her role in the series. She has since starred in “Parenthood,” “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist,” and “The Mighty Ducks,” among others. Additionally,  she returned for Netflix’s revival of “Gilmore Girls” in 2016. Graham has sustained a long-term relationship with her “Parenthood” co-star, Peter Krause.

Keiko Agena played Lane Kim, Rory’s best friend, and the all-time favorite rockstar. Following her seven-season run on the show, Agena landed roles in “Bravo’s Dirty John,” “Better Call Saul,” and “13 Reasons Why.”

Kelly Bishop played Emily Gilmore, Rory’s grandmother. Today, she is a Tony Award-Winning actress for her role on “A Chorus Line.”

Liza Weil portrayed Paris Geller, Rory’s high school rival-turned-pal who ended up as her college dorm mate. In real life, she is a successful actress, known for her appearances on “Scandal,” “How To Get Away With Murder” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Matt Czuchry, the Logan Huntzberger role player has starred in “The Good Wife,” and “The Resident” among others. Jared Padalecki played Rory’s first boyfriend, Dean Forester. He has since starred in “Supernatural” and “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

All these stars have taken different paths in the last two decades, most of which have played out in public eyes.
