Alex Christian Jones is an African-American actor and former Disney star best known for his role as Eddie Jones in the American series “Kickin’ It.” He was born on September 6, 1996, in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was raised alongside his sister, Alexis.

His early education is unknown, but he attended a regular school even though he could have been homeschooled. His later education, however, has been confirmed and is known to the general public. 

The Birmingham-born actor enrolled at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, in 2014 to study Mass Communication/Media Studies. Sometime in 2018, Jones graduated from the University and became a bachelor’s degree holder.

Jones is one of the few actors who started trying their hand at acting when he was barely a kid. At 3, the young lad was already an actor and performed skits on stage in his local area. 

When he was only nine years old, he started performing in association with Birmingham’s Red Mountain Theatre Company. He was also into singing but focused more on acting for the entirety of his career. 

He finally made his acting debut in Ruben Studdard’s Flying Without Wings music video. The quality of his skill in the music video caught the attention of Disney XD, and the company later offered him a role in one of their TV series, Disney 365, in 2006.

Due to his incredible talent at such a young age, he got a role in another TV series shortly after. He appeared in “Piper’s QUICK Picks” in 2010 and his most popular show “Kickin’ It” in 2011.

His fame skyrocketed thanks to his role in the latter as Eddie Jones in the show’s first and second seasons. The show was famous for its captivating plot, and other featured actors include Leo Howard, Olivia Holt, Jason Earles, and Austin North, to name a few. 

Some years later, in 2017, Jones featured in the second season of an American Superhero fiction series called “Black Lighting,” where he played the role of Sekou Hamilton, a student at the series’ fiction school Garfield High.
