Adam Kinzinger, a former Representative, has criticized Lilly Gaddis, a conservative Tiktoker, and Republicans who have supported her after saying racial slurs repeatedly directed towards the black community. Earlier in June, a video of Gaddis cooking went viral after she used a racial slur in it.

She spoke about the recent immigration crisis in the country and made many controversial statements while at it. However, what got people very upset was when she used a racial slur and described her friends’ husbands as “broke a** n****s.” Unsurprisingly, the video quickly went viral and was shared thousands of times across social media platforms.

She received a lot of backlash for this and was repeatedly asked to apologize for her statements. However, Gaddis did the opposite. She doubled down on her words and posted a follow-up video in which she acknowledged that some “members of a certain community” were upset by her comments.

To this, she said that she had to do a “deep dive and a soul search” and still “couldn’t find a care.” Ironically, Gaddis worked as a marketing and sales manager at Rophe, a black-owned company based in North Carolina. Just a few hours after the saga started, she was fired from her job.

As a company owned and operated by a Black woman, it had a zero-tolerance policy toward racism. The company released a statement saying that it was well aware of the video and how it had upset its customers, employees, and even stakeholders. Therefore, Gaddis, a newly hired employee, was fired for her actions and is no longer with the company.

In addition, Tiktok took down her account after about 24 hours, as the app also has a zero-tolerance policy against racism. Gaddis still didn’t stop and took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share that she still stands by her earlier comments.

As expected, many right-wing influencers and Republicans started to defend her use of racial slurs. To this, former Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger has expressed his utter disappointment at both Gaddis and her supporters. On X, he called her “spoiled” for not having to face serious consequences for her words except for the loss of her job.

“These spoiled children have had no consequences in their lives,” he said. He also added that racism is a huge problem and an ultimate snowflake and should not be treated lightly or supported by Republicans. The Democratic Party nominee for Florida’s state Senate in District 23 also agreed with the former representative on X.

He noted that people like Gaddis always find a way to play the victim card even after being the creator of such vile content. Not long after, many of Gaddis’ supporters found out that she had a mixed-race son and attacked her for being hypocritical.

However, Gaddis seems to have done this simply to launch her career in conservative media, and she also said so herself. Not only is she out of a job, but her new career path may not be promising in the long run.
