Dwayne Johnson’s daughter, Gia Tiana is three. In honor of the milestone, he surprised the toddler with an appearance from Aquaman. Here is Tiana’s adorable reaction to her dad’s sweet gesture.
Hollywood icon, Dwayne Johnson has a soft spot for his daughter, Tiana, even if she believes him less cool than Aquaman. Tiana recently celebrated her third birthday, and Johnson marked the milestone with a special Aquaman surprise.
Taking to Instagram, Johnson paid a birthday tribute to the tot, describing her as loving, kind, tenacious, and tough. He went on to explain how the little girl got over her obsession with Maui from “Moana” after realizing her dad played the character.
Instead, she found herself a new hero, the fictional character, Aquaman. For her birthday, Tiana had the sole wish of seeing her beloved hero, prompting Johnson to pull a surprise. He asked his friend, Jason Momoa, who played the fictional character, to send Tiana a video message.
The 48-year-old shared a clip of the special moment on Instagram, capturing his daughter’s priceless reaction as Momoa addressed her saying:
“I’m sorry I couldn’t be there, but I love you. And tell your papa that I love him too. I’ll see you soon. Happy third birthday. Bye Jazzy, bye Tia, love you.”
Upon hearing the message, the little girl gave an excited squeak, stepping away from the TV as she jumped for Joy. Her big sister, Jasmine also appeared excited, joining the rest of the family hovering in the background to cheer Tiana on.
Johnson explained via his caption that he had to make the call to Momoa to impress his daughter, as that’s what dads do. Going further, the father of three extended heartfelt gratitude to the “Aquaman” star for having his back.
The Instagram video garnered bouts of reactions from fans who kept gushing about the birthday surprise. Most extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Tiana as she turned three on Sunday.
In an earlier post, the “Black Adam” star opened up about his daughter’s obsession with Aquaman on social media. He backed his claims with a series of videos of the tot obsessing over the superhero.
In one of them, she bluntly admitted Aquaman was cooler than her dad’s “Black Adam” superhero character. In another, the tot stared adoringly at a sketched picture of Aquaman, which she wanted to frame and hang up in her room.
Dwayne Johnson shares daughters, Tiana and Jasmine with his wife of two years, Lauren Hashian. The couple welcomed Tiana in April 2018, three years after the birth of their first child together, Jasmine.
Additionally, the former WWE champion is father to a grownup daughter, Simone Johnson from ex-wife, Dany Garcia. Simone is already following in her dad’s footsteps as a professional wrestler.
Meanwhile, Johnson has his hands full with his two little princesses, participating in most of their leisure activities just to keep those smiles on their faces.
Given his relationship with his three girls, Dwayne Johnson is indeed the ultimate girl dad goals!
