In a new revelation by PEOPLE, Shemar Moore and his four-year girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon, are no longer together. The news, which was initially broken by TMZ, has officially confirmed that the couple have parted ways after almost five years of dating. Their sudden breakup comes days after the former couple celebrated their daughter’s second birthday on January 24, 2025.
On Thursday, January 30, 2025, TMZ reported that although Dizon and Moore have parted ways romantically, they remain on good terms. Following their breakup announcement, an anonymous source said, “They are loving friends and co-parents and always will be.” Prior to their January 2023 Instagram official debut, Dizon and Moore had maintained a platonic relationship for years.
Speaking of their daughter, Frankie Melelina Moore, who was born in January 2023, the couple has maintained their intention to co-parent in a friendly manner. According to people close to the ex-couples, they are committed to providing their daughter with “the happiest and healthiest life possible.”

While Moore and Dizon’s relationship became Instagram official in 2023, their relationship history is older than most people know. Speaking with “The Talk” in May 2023, Moore stated that he originally met Dizon in 2008, when they dated briefly before eventually parting ways.

Moore said, “We actually dated 15 years ago, and to be honest, it was wonderful. I just wasn’t ready for that settled-down, family thing. I got a little spooked. Then God is good and I think Mom’s karma brought us back full circle. And here we are.”
The couple maintained a low profile, staying away from the public radar until they discovered they were expecting their first child. After Moore and Dizen found out they were expecting a girl together, their romance deepened. Consequently, Moore took to his Instagram page in January 2023 to share a video announcing his relationship and upcoming parenthood.
During his appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on January 24, 2025, Moore gave an insight into their life with Frankie. Moore said, “To me, it’s just like tomorrow’s not guaranteed, but Jesiree, I’ll give you everything I got today and tomorrow. She is my partner. She is the mother of Frankie. Frankie has a dope-ass mama, and I’m going to try to be a dope-ass daddy. And we going to do that until God calls my name.”
