It does not look like Cardi B and Offset will get back together anytime soon. The “WAP” rapper has demanded that her estranged husband sign their divorce papers in a heated social media altercation.
The drama unfolded on Wednesday, December 18, on X, formerly Twitter, and it saw them use really nasty words to address one another. This heated exchange between the former couple gained attention and fans are curious about what happened between the two. Here’s all we know.
What Did Cardi B Say About Offset On X?
Cardi, born Belcalis Almánzar, called Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, a “Babymomma acting ass bitch” in a tweet. And it rubbed him the wrong way because he clapped back via his own page.
“I’m baby mama now cuz u lied for no reason used me as a sacrifice off a comment from a stranger,” Offset, 33, replied in a now-deleted tweet. Offset went further by advising the “WAP” rapper, 32, to stop making herself “look like a hoe” who is only focused “on d–k” and trying to make him look bad. A low blow, but one Cardi did not let slide.

In response, she wrote, “So dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about d–k?? You sound like a dummy.. trying to be fake nice after you did what you wanted from the beginning trying to push a narrative to these people.”
After that, the proud mom told her estranged husband that he could “f–k off” while urging him to sign their divorce papers “TODAY.”
More Details From Offset and Cardi B’s Virtual Altercation
In his reply, the “Versace” rapper tagged Cardi as “single and miserable,” claiming she has mentioned him in all of her live chats on X Spaces. She retorted by writing that he was “just mad” that she was enjoying her life, and men still seemed interested in her. This is despite her being a mom of three kids in her 30s, factors Offset thought would make it hard for her to date.
“I don’t bother none of the hoes you f–k. But every guy I talk to you dming and talkin s–t about me like let’s not!” she tweeted before deleting it. Offset has said he will not sign the divorce papers until she “splits the custody” of their kids. The pair shares three children: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and their newborn baby girl, who is 3 months old.
“When u split the custody, I will u ain’t worried bout music u worried about d–k everybody can see it all u talk about us d–k and in clubs burnt, no music, no nothing, just drama,” his deleted tweet reads.
Their virtual altercation came days after the pair reunited in a Miami nightclub celebrating Offset’s 33rd birthday. One online video captured Offset fixated on Cardi, who was seductively dancing in her separate VIP section. At some point, they interacted by throwing wads of cash at one another. However, that was the extent of their interaction.
Have Cardi B and Offset Officially Filed for Divorce?
Yes. In fact, Offset and Cardi’s back-and-forth on X is the latest in a long line of social media rants against each other since she filed for divorce in August. In September, Offset accused Cardi of stepping out on him with another man while she was carrying their third child.
And in October, she called the “Bad and Boujee” rapper a “dirty ass narcissistic” and wished him dead. Since she filed for divorce, Cardi has made it known that she only wants primary custody of their three kids. Not child support. “My claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one,” she said.
