Gaston Rojas graduated from Carmel High School in 2010 and was involved in jazz band, wind ensemble, and basketball and baseball varsity teams. He attended the University of Buffalo from 2010 to 2011. However, he transferred after his freshman year to “pursue a different path.”

Before being with Rojas, Taylor Ann Green was with her “Southern Charm” costar, Shep Rose. Their relationship ended after two years of dating because Rose reportedly did not “want to commit.”
One source revealed at the time: “Shep has a real issue with monogamy and refused to commit to Taylor, telling her that he doesn’t want to be with just one person and change his lifestyle.” It took Green about a year to move on, and when that time came, so did the charming Rojas.

Taylor Ann Green and Gaston Rojas met a few months after he moved to Charleston through their mutual friend, Southern Hospitality’s TJ Dinch. When they first met, they both had partners, so nothing happened until they reconnected months later when he became roommates with Dinch.
It meant they got to spend more time together and see each other much more often—a perfect recipe for a love story if there ever was one. The pair started dating in September 2023 after what she tagged an “accidental date.” It happened just as summer ended. They had planned to go to a nice restaurant with a friend, who ended up canceling at the last minute.

“I was a little nervous because I was like, ‘I know we’re friends, but… I do find him attractive and is this a date or… We are going to a nice restaurant,’ ” she said. “It was kind of awkward, and I was definitely nervous, but he didn’t even think twice about it.”
They were halfway through dinner when he told her, “I am actually really enjoying this. Do you mind if I take you on a real date?” After that, they sat talking for hours, and the rest, as they say, is history.
