Carpenter, 25, and Keoghan, 32, began dating in late 2023 but recently split up after a year together. According to an exclusive insider, their relationship has been strained since she began touring and being away so frequently. Their schedules did not coincide, and the time spent apart made it difficult to maintain the relationship. This is especially with her career taking off.
An insider explained that Sabrina Carpenter’s stardom has made it difficult for her to focus and be present in the relationship, as she barely has time for herself, let alone for a relationship. A second source clarified that the breakup occurred within the last month due to busy schedules and physical distances.
This has been the busiest period for both of them, and their schedules were not aligning, which took a toll on the relationship. They had hoped to spend more time together, but the lack of alignment in their schedules made it challenging.

She mentioned that he was next to her in a chair and was very excited about it. She added that he likes the song and her music a lot, which is great.

After Sabrina Carpenter released her album on August 23, fans speculated that the “Work It” star wrote some of the project’s songs regarding the Irish actor, especially “Bed Chem.”

Sabrina Carpenter was born on May 11, 1999, making her 25 years old. However, Barry Keoghan was born on October 18, 1992, making him 32 years old. Consequently, there’s a 7-year gap between them. Notably before Barry Keoghan’s relationship with the singer, he was in a relationship that led to the birth of a child.
In September 2021, Keoghan started dating Alyson Kierans, a dental nurse and orthodontic therapist. A few months later, on Ireland’s Mother’s Day (March 27, 2022), he revealed that the couple was expecting a child together.
