63-Year-Old Valerie Bertinelli Speaks on Finding Love Again With “Very Special Man”

Valerie Bertinelli, an amazing actress and television personality, speaks on finding love again at 63. The actress has appeared on the TV shows “One Day at a Time” and “Hot in Cleveland.” She’s also written cookbooks and hosted cooking shows. 

Bertinelli was married to Tom Vitale for about 11 years before the couple parted ways in 2022. The stunning actress filed for a legal separation from Vitale in November 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.” She later amended her petition to ask for a divorce in May 2022, which they finalized in November 2022.

“And I’m incredibly grateful for him.” Bertinelli also expressed that she wasn’t expecting it. “I wasn’t expecting it! He was not on my radar!” she exclaimed. According to the actress, her newfound relationship sounds like it’ll be better than her past marriage.

The renowned star also took to Instagram to express her happy space. She shared a radiant photo of herself in a cream-colored blazer with a heartfelt caption that expressed her joy. In the caption, she thanked her followers for supporting her through the transformative journey.

“Thank you all for staying on this ride with me,” she wrote. “And sticking with me through the tears to get to the joy on the other side. XO.”

In February 2023, Bertinelli opened up about the difficulties and emotional trauma she experienced in her previous marriage. She explained how her ex-husband, Tom Vitale, treated her badly.

As earlier stated, Bertinelli filed for divorce from Vitale in 2022. After finalizing the divorce, she noted that the day of the divorce was one of the best days of her life. She opened up about emotional abuse in relationships.

In February 2023, Valerie Bertinelli shared a clip of herself lip-syncing on Instagram. In the video, Bertinelli asked herself why she let her ex stay after “finding the texts.” She responded, “I don’t know.” She later revealed the nature of the “texts,” saying her ex often called her “fat” and criticized her figure.

However, she finally realized it was time to move on. Speaking about her recovery after divorcing Vitale, the stunning actress and TV personality said she found therapy extremely helpful.
