Former President Donald Trump is again calling out President Joe Biden for his legal woes. As the two prepare for a rematch of the 2020 election in November, tensions between both parties are growing. Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has recently called for Biden’s removal from the White House.
In a post on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Trump condemned Biden. He slammed Biden for the raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence. The drama started after reports that federal agents who stormed Mar-a-Lago planned to use “deadly force” if necessary became public.
The former President claims he saw reports that President Biden, through the DOJ, targeted him. The report claims, “Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ, in their illegal and unconstitutional raid of Mar-a-Lago, authorized the FBI to use Deadly (Lethal) Force.”
As a result, Trump called for Biden’s removal from the White House under the 25th Amendment. According to sources, the report stems from a court filing unsealed on Tuesday. The filing portrayed the guidelines for the FBI raid, which saw officials seize hundreds of classified documents.

Several criminal charges were also brought against Trump. Furthermore, the report says that officers of the “Department of Justice (DOJ) may use force when necessary.” Hence, Trump concluded that he had been right about the cases against him being witch-hunts.
He also doubled down on his stance that Biden is unfit for office on his Truth Social platform. “NOW WE KNOW, FOR SURE, THAT JOE BIDEN IS A SERIOUS THREAT TO DEMOCRACY, Trump wrote in his famous capital-laden rants on Truth Social. “HE IS MENTALLY UNFIT TO HOLD OFFICE—25th AMENDMENT.”
Trump’s Truth Social rants are almost as famous as the former President’s temper. As Trump and Biden prepare for another election showdown, their campaigns have attacked each other. For context, Biden once congratulated Trump for winning a self-proclaimed golf tournament, sparking controversy.

Also, since Trump’s legal woes started mounting, the former president has repeatedly claimed his woes were Biden’s doing. Trump, who had 40 felony charges brought against him in the classified document case, argued the case against him was a witch hunt.
Furthermore, Trump alleged that Biden was targeting him ahead of their 2024 election rematch. Notably, Trump pleaded not guilty to the classified documents case, where he failed to return classified documents to federal authorities after removing them from the White House.
The unsealed report comes after Trump’s attorney, Christopher Kise, filed a motion in February 2024. Kise’s motion questioned the legality of the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. It also claimed that the agency violated Trump’s “attorney-client privilege” while recovering some of the stashed documents from the residence.

The court filing claims that FBI agents who stormed the residence planned to carry standard-issue weapons, ammo, handcuffs, and various sizes of bolt cutters. Notably, Trump isn’t the first person to call for Biden’s removal by citing the 25th Amendment.
The 25th Amendment of the US Constitution outlines the procedures to replace the president in case of death, resignation, or incapacitation.” Like Trump, other Republicans have claimed that Biden is “unfit” to rule over concerns about his age and mental capacity.
