Cory Hardrict and Tia Mowry, now parents of two, were not always enviable lovebirds. The duo first met in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. Tia Mowry and her sister, Tamera were at the peak of their stardom, both basking in the success of the ABC show, “Sister Sister.”
Tia Mowry’s husband, on his part, was still struggling to succeed in Hollywood, keeping odd jobs while pursuing his entertainment career. The Mowry sisters offered the actor a ride in their car after coming across him at a bus station downtown. A little embarrassed, Hardrict, who came out of shooting his first film, took the ride, and thus their friendship began.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Soon, the friendship between the pair developed into something bigger. Although Cory Hardrict could barely hold it together when they met, Mowry gave their love a chance. The 40-year-old actor was at the time working the graveyard shift at K-Mart as security. During an interview, the 42-year-old actress admitted that they never went on dates without being accompanied by other people. As part of their precautions to keep the relationship unblemished, they waited a year into their relationship before having their first kiss. Also, Tia Mowry admittedly did not lose her virginity until she was twenty-five.

After dating for six years, Cory Hardrict proposed to Mowry on December 25, 2006. Nearly two years later, the lovebirds tied the Knot in a grand ceremony in Santa Barbara. Their marriage took place on April 20, 2008, marking the beginning of their journey as a family.
WELCOMING NEW ADDITIONS
The Hollywood sweethearts enjoyed a successful marriage for three years, each focusing on growing their career and sustaining their love. On June 28, 2011, the couple welcomed their first bundle of joy, a son, Cree Hardrict. Six years later, their family grew even bigger, with the birth of their daughter, Cairo Tiahna Hardrict, on May 5, 2018.
Tia Mowry’s Children, aged nine and two, are already following in their parents’ footsteps. Her first son, Cree, has credits in movies like “Family Reunion” as Mason, and “Career Suicide: Arthur’s Edge,” as Neiman. He also gained recognition for starring as himself in his mom’s reality television show, “Tia Mowry At Home.”
