Kate Middleton’s net worth mirrors how royalty has favored her as a Duchess. So let’s see how much she is worth.
Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, otherwise known as Kate Middleton, rose to stardom when she met the love of her life, Prince William. The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, is the husband of the Fashion Icon and Countess of Strathearn, Kate.
The two met while they were students in residence at St Salvator’s Hall at the University of St Andrews in 2001. Afterward, she reportedly caught William’s eye at a charity fashion show at the university in 2002, appearing on the stage wearing a transparent lace dress.
Although their love story is now one for the ages, things didn’t completely go well for the couple during courtship. Sometime in 2007, they reportedly “took a space.” However, some months later, they were back together.
In 2010, they finally got engaged, and just a year later, the lovebirds became officially married. They welcomed their first child George Alexander Louis on July 23, 2013. Their second child Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born on May 2, 2015.
The couple welcomed their third Louis Arthur Charles on April 23, 2018.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are one of the most beloved royal couples in the history of royals. Kate is also known for her impeccable fashion sense. She’s a famous fashion icon who has impacted American and British fashion.
In 2007 and 2010, she ranked number one on People magazine’s Best Dressed People list. Kate and Prince Charles are also known for their charitable acts.
Kate Middleton’s Net Worth
Before marrying Prince William, Kate Middleton worked in the fashion industry. She worked as a procurer of jewelry for Jigsaw, a fashion retailer. In 2011, she also worked for her family’s company, Party Pieces.
The Duchess of Cambridge worked in catalog design and production, marketing, and photography at the family business. While working for the company, she launched the firm’s junior brand for toddlers. In addition, she began working with the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which helps terminally ill youth, providing party essentials for sick children.
The Duchess was also involved in fundraising plans for different programs before getting married. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Kate Middleton is currently worth $10 Million.
Kate Middleton Once Trained To Cross the English Channel
Kate is quite sporty; before getting famous recognition, she regularly engaged in sporting activities. In 2007, the Duchess trained with the all-female dragon-boat crew called “The Sisterhood.” They were preparing to race against an all-male team across the English Channel for charity.
Her friend from St. Andrews, Alicia Fox-Pitt, invited her to join the training. Afterward, the Duchess rowed along the River Thames with the team and stood like a helmsman at the boat’s extreme.
However, she had to opt out of the event because of extreme media attention and security concerns. During an interview with the team captain, Emma Sayle, she spoke about Kate’s removal. In her words to PEOPLE, she stated:
“Kate has chosen to drop out, having taken advice. It’s a safety thing … security issues,” “She’s upset she can’t do it, but she’s made a call and considered the whole team. By pulling out, she’s doing it for everyone else,”
Sayle added that the media and photographers didn’t help Kate’s cause. On the contrary, their regular presence placed Kate at risk of exposure. The concern was so high that Kate’s lawyers had to issue a warning to the paparazzi to respect her privacy.
Kate Middleton Loves Photography
The Duchess of Cambridge’s interest in photography started at a young age. She has since followed it in different formats, including writing an entire dissertation as a student in college about author Lewis Carroll’s photographs of children.
For the new exhibition “Life Through a Royal Lens” at Kensington Palace, the Duchess contributed three photos of her children. As such, she spoke with the exhibition staff about her love for photography and how she got into it.
Claudia Scott Williams, the curator at Historic Royal Palaces, shared some of that inside knowledge. He said:
“Her grandfather was a very good photographer,” “When she was a child, he would show her his slides. It was him who taught her how to take photographs.”
“Life Through a Royal Lens,” which opened on March 4, 2022, recounts the Royal Family’s history to visitors. The exhibition also features a rare, previously unseen photograph of Princess Diana, taken by David Bailey in 1988.
Recently, Kate honored Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth with her 40th birthday photoshoot. The Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday photos paid tribute to two women she looks up to in her role as future Queen.
The glittering pair of diamond earrings she donned in one of the shots was on loan from the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. For the second shot, the Duchess sat sideways, placing her hands in a way that showed her 12-carat sapphire engagement ring. The ring in question once belonged to the late Princess of Wales, who acquired it during Prince Charles’s proposal in 1981.
The Duchess Is Allergic to Horses
In 2009 the Duchess of Cambridge revealed she was allergic to horses. Kate said this while she was at a polo match with Australian author Kathy Lette. However, two years later, Clarissa Ru, wife to Wesley Ru, the Santa Barbara Polo Club, revealed the Duchess was working to overcome her horse allergy.
Kate attempted to overcome her allergy through exposure, also known as immunotherapy. Although the process won’t make her overcome her allergy entirely, it would only make it milder.
Overcoming her allergy will finally allow her to ride alongside her children with Prince William: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in the future.
