Ariana Grande
The American singer-songwriter and actress was nominated for the first time at the Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Glinda in “Wicked,” and the film was up for Best Picture.
Grande wore a blush custom Schiaparelli couture gown on the 2025 Oscars red carpet. And later slipped into a ruby-red Schiaparelli dress by Daniel Roseberry for her opening Oscar performance with co-star Cynthia Erivo. The dress was made from 150,000 crystal sequins and rhinestones.
Elle Fanning
Elle Fanning was a vision in a white dress with a long black bow cinched on her waist and a dramatic A-Train adding some contrast at the 2025 Oscars. The “A Complete Unknown” star walked the 97th Academy Awards red carpet wearing a custom Givenchy couture gown by Sarah Burton, the house’s new creative director.
Furthermore, the 26-year-old also accessorized the dress with a vintage Cartier diamond choker necklace from 1958, with a matching diamond ring and bracelet.
Cynthia Erivo
Powerhouse actress Cynthia Erivo was nominated at the 2025 Oscars for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Elphaba in “Wicked.” The 38-year-old is known for stealing the show on the red carpet and has done it again at the Oscars 2025 red carpet.
Erivo donned a lush custom velvet ball gown with a high collar and off-the-shoulder sleeves by Louis Vuitton in a deep emerald color. According to stylist Jason Balden’s Instagram post, the dress paid tribute to Hatti McDaniel, the first black person to win an Oscar for acting.
Timothée Chalamet
Timothée Chalamet’s performance as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown” earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the 2025 Oscars. Although he ultimately lost to Adrien Brody, Chamalet has never disappointed on a red carpet. The 29-year-old brightened the red carpet in a butter-yellow leather suit with a matching shirt from Givenchy.
Zoe Saldaña
Zoe Saldaña, who was nominated and won her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Rita Mora Castro in “Emilia Pérez,” shined in a strapless crystal gown.

Gomez, who happened to be presenting, wore a custom blush pink off-the-shoulder gown by Ralph Lauren. The custom design featured hand-embroidered details, hand-sewn Rosemont crystals, and “more than 16,000 drops of glass” embellishments.
Colman Domingo
Colman Domingo, the Best Actor nominee for his performance in “Sing Sing,” has built a reputation for standing out on red carpets. The 55-year-old American actor and playwright arrived at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre for the 2025 Oscars in a classic red double-breasted suit jacket with black lapels, a red-colored shirt, and black slacks.
This custom Maison Valentino look was designed for him by creative director Alessandro Michele.
Halle Berry
Academy Award winner Halle Berry made history in 2002 as the first black woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress. Demi Moore
