There is relative peace in the world, but it exists on a delicate balance that may crumble soon as Russia is threatening a nuclear war.
According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the West is risking nuclear war if it sends troops to Ukraine. In his State of the Union address, he claimed that NATO and the US were gearing up to “strike Russian territory.”
He said: “They must realize that we also have weapons that can hit targets on their territory. All this really threatens a conflict with the use of nuclear weapons and the destruction of civilization. Don’t they get that?”
It is not the first time Putin has threatened nuclear war, but the world is taking him more seriously as time passes. According to Putin, he’s got a new RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile, also known as the Satan-II, and it is fully operational.
