In recent news, in the wake of a series of legal setbacks facing the Republican presidential candidate, a supporter of his uploaded a new video of him. Taking to X, Roseanne Barr shared a video of the former president signing a gun intended for her. 

On Thursday, May 20, 2024, popular comedian Roseanne Barr posted an eleven-second clip to her page about Trump. The comedian is an avid supporter of the republican, especially during his legal challenges. This might be his way of appreciating Barr.

Trump was seen in a white top and black trousers, spotting his signature MAGA cap. He said he was signing the gun specifically for her while also saying we love you, referring to himself and his team. 

Barr claims to have been a strong supporter of Trump since the 2016 election, where she initially voted for him. She claims to have supported him since then. The video was captioned with what Barr imagined the founding fathers had in mind when they passed the Second Amendment. She ended her statement by talking about her excitement to receive her autographed weapon.

An attempt to reach the comedian was unsuccessful, although her son Jake Pentland replied on her behalf. An animal charity group sent the weapon to Barr as a thank-you. He said she had donated to the organization, and this was their way of appreciating her.

As of the time the press reached out to the comedian on Saturday, May 22, 2024, the video had accumulated over 150 thousand views. On the same day, Trump gave a speech to the National Rifle Association, which had thousands of members attend the event. Shortly before Trump took to the podium to give his speech, the organization announced its support for him in the coming election The event took place in Texas.

In his speech, he praised Texas. He said that some individuals migrate to the state with nothing, but together they were able to build something great.

He continued by shading the current president and Democratic candidate, Joe Biden. Trump said that although the nation is facing its highest inflation in almost 60 years and banks collapsing, the nation was not regressing. 

Earlier in 2024, Trump attempted the trading of merchandise relating to his campaign. He related a God bless the USA, which goes for $60, and some limited edition sneakers of himself, worth $400 a piece. He also sold NFTs of himself, depicting in a series of designs from being a superhero to a race car driver.

Barr just made a return to the limelight with her comedy show, “Roseanne Barr: Cancel This!” The show premiered on February 13, 2023, on Fox Nation. She said she canceled after attacking Valerie Jarrett, a black former senior advisor to Barack Obama during his administration. She described her as if the “Muslim Brotherhood” and the “planet of the apes” had a baby.

In her defense, she claimed that she wasn’t aware that the former special adviser was black. She intended to apologize on the air but was fired before she could do so.
